Former Sri Lanka Skipper Trolls Bangladesh After Asia Cup Win

The Sri Lankan cricket team came up with an outing to remember as the island nation registered one of their most memorable victories in Asia Cup 2022. Dasun Shanaka’s side got the better of Bangladesh in the last over thriller at the Dubai International Stadium on Thursday.

A lot of emotions were involved ahead of the game as Sri Lankan skipper and Bangladesh team director Khaled Mahmud had presented varied views during the pre-match press conference ahead of the clash. After the emphatic victory, Former SL captain Mahela Jayawardene took to Twitter and posted a taunting comment towards the Bangladesh side.

Earlier, Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanaka shared his news on the number of world class bowlers in the opposition camp. The 30-year-old went on to claim that Bangladesh had only two world class bowlers in their side. However, Khaled Mahmud presented a different view and responded to Shanaka‘s comment stating there are none in Sri Lanka ahead of the game.
