Jonny Bairstow hit one of the fastest centuries in Indian Premier League (IPL) history on 26th April 2024 in a game against Kolkata Knight Riders at Eden Gardens. KKR batted first and had an incredible showing, putting up a target of 262 for Punjab Kings to chase down. It looked like Punjab would struggle, but they came out swinging. Bairstow made 108 runs in just 48 balls, helping PBKS chase down the total in just 18.4 overs and completing one of the best chases in IPL history.

Mayank Agarwal had an incredible performance against Rajasthan Royals on 27th September 2020, scoring one of the fastest centuries in IPL history. The Kings XI Punjab opener scored 106 runs in 50 balls, including a century in 45 balls. Mayank Agarwal helped his team reach a total of 223, and while this was a strong total, it was all for nothing. Rajasthan Royals were able to chase down the score in 19.3 overs, and Kings XI Punjab ended up losing the game despite Mayank Agarwal’s performance.

Sanath Jayasuriya had a near solo performance while batting for the Mumbai Indians in a game against Chennai Super Kings on 14th May 2008. CSK batted first and put up a total of 156 on the board. Jayasuriya opened with Sachin Tendulkar, but he ended up making the score almost alone, scoring one of the fastest ever IPL centuries. Jayasuriya made 114 runs in 48 balls, including a century in just 45 balls, one of the fastest 100s ever. This helped the Mumbai Indians chase down the total very easily, and they managed to do so in just 13.5 overs.
David Warner had one of his best-ever showings while playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad on 30th April 2017, in an Indian Premier League (IPL) game against Kolkata Knight Riders. SRH batted first, and David Warner came out swinging. He made a century in just 43 balls and ended up scoring 126 runs in 59 balls, helping SRH put up a total of 209 on the board. This performance ended up being too much for KKR to handle, and they ended up losing the game by 48 runs.

AB de Villiers is one of Royal Challengers Bangalore’s best-ever hitters and scored one of the fastest centuries while representing them in an IPL match against Gujarat Lions on 14th May 2016. RCB batted first, and after Chris Gayle lost his wicket very early on, ABD and Virat Kohli had a brilliant partnership. ABD hit a century in just 43 balls, ending the inning having made 129 runs in just 52 balls while remaining not out. RCB ended up putting a total of 248 on the board and bowled Gujarat Lions out for just 104 runs, winning by a margin of 144 runs.

Adam Gilchrist was an incredible batsman and had one of his best shows while representing the Deccan Chargers in the Indian Premier League on 27th April 2008 in a game against the Mumbai Indians. MI batted first but was able to put up a target of just 155 on the board. Gilchrist opened the batting with VVS Laxman, and the duo were able to chase this target down without losing a single wicket. Gilchrist made 109 runs in just 47 balls, including a century in just 42 balls, to help guide Deccan Chargers to a win by 10 wickets with 48 balls remaining.

Will Jacks was incredible for Royal Challengers Bangalore in a chase against Gujarat Titans on 28th April 2024, scoring one of the fastest centuries of all time. Gujarat Titans batted first and managed to reach 200, setting a big target for RCB to chase down. Faf du Plessis started strong but lost his wicket early, prompting the entry of Will Jacks. The English star went rouge while batting, hitting 100 runs in just 41 balls, including five fours and 10 sixes. His brilliant showing helped RCB chase down the total easily and win by a margin of nine wickets with 24 balls remaining.

Travis Head scored one of the fastest centuries in Indian Premier League history while representing Sunrisers Hyderabad in a game against Royal Challengers Bangalore on 15th April 2024. Head scored 102 runs in just 41 balls, reaching his century in just 39 balls. He did so at a strike rate of 248.78, helping SRH to a score of 287 runs. RCB put in quite a shift while chasing this total but fell short in the end, losing the game by 25 runs.
David Miller had a brilliant showing against the Royal Challengers Bangalore on 6th May 2013, scoring one of the fastest IPL centuries while representing the Kings XI Punjab in the Indian Premier League. RCB batted first and managed to set a target of 191 for Punjab to chase down. Kings XI Punjab lost many early wickets, but Miller stepped up massively. He scored 101 runs in 38 balls while remaining not out to guide KXIP to a victory past RCB, helping his team win by six wickets with 12 balls remaining.

Yusuf Pathan scored the second-fastest century in Indian Premier League history on 13th March 2010 against the Mumbai Indians while representing the Rajasthan Royals. Mumbai Indians batted first and set a very strong score of 212 on the board. Rajasthan Royals lost early wickets, but Yusuf Pathan stepped up, scoring 100 runs in just 37 balls to help his team in the chase. However, all his efforts were in vain, and Rajasthan Royals ended up losing the game by a narrow margin of four runs.

Chris Gayle went absolutely rogue against Pune Warriors on 23rd April 2013. He scored 175 runs in just 66 balls at a strike rate of 265.15, including a century in just 30 balls. This helped RCB set a massive target of 264 for Pune Warriors to chase down, and RCB ended up winning the game by a massive margin of 130 runs.
