Ollie Hairs is tied with Kento Kadowaki for 10th place in the list of fastest T20I centuries. The Scottish batsman reached the 100-run mark in just 40 balls. He ended up making 127 runs in just 53 balls and remained not out. He hit 14 fours and eight sixes in this fantastic innings.

10. Kento Kadowaki (Japan) – 40 Balls

Kento Kadowaki is a Japanese cricketer and the second batsman on this list, which is tied for the 10th position. He scored a century in just 40 balls against South Korea on 15th October 2022, one of the fastest centuries ever. He ended up making 114 runs in 46 balls, ending with 10 fours, 10 sixes, and a strike rate of 247.82. This inning will go down in Japan’s cricket history as one of the best-ever performances.

7. Johnson Charles (West Indies) – 39 Balls

It would be impossible to complete this list without a West Indian being present. The Windies cricket team is known for their batting prowess and hitting skills, and that is exactly what Johnson Charles showcased on 26th March 2023 against South Africa. The batsman scored 118 runs in 46 balls, reaching the 100-run mark in just 39 balls. He ended the innings with 10 fours, 11 6s, and a strike rate of 256.52. Despite this fabulous innings, it was South Africa that ended up winning the match after chasing down a huge target of 259 in just 18.5 overs.

7. Zeeshan Kukikhel (Hungary) – 39 Balls

Zeeshan Kukikhel is an opening batsman who plays for the Hungary cricket team. He had arguably his best-ever performance in a match against Austria on 5th June 2022. He hit a century in just 39 balls and made 137 runs in just 49 balls before losing his wicket. He scored seven fours and 15 sixes in that innings, ending with a strike rate of 279.59.

7. Sivakumar Periyalwar (Romania) – 39 Balls

Sivakumar Periyalwar is a Romanian batsman and the third cricketer on this list to have hit a 39-ball century. Periyalwar entered this list of fastest centuries on 29th August 2019 against Turkey. Romania ended up beating Turkey by a massive 173 runs due to the immaculate performance by Sivakumar Periyalwar. He made 105 runs in 40 balls and remained not out (reaching the 100-run mark in 39 balls).

4. Sudesh Wickramasekara (Czech Republic) – 35 Balls

Sudesh Wickramasekara is a batting all-rounder who represents the Czech Republic cricket team. Ironically, this match between the Czech Republic and Turkey took place just a day after Sivakumar Periyalwar had scored a 39-ball century against Turkey. It was Wickramasekara’s turn now, and he ended up hitting a century in just 35 balls, one of the fastest ever. He finished the innings with eight fours and 10 sixes, scoring 104 runs in 36 balls and remaining not out.

4. Rohit Sharma (India) – 35 Balls

Rohit Sharma is one of the best openers in the world. He is known for his hitting prowess, and he had one of his best-ever T20 performances against Sri Lanka on 22nd December 2017. Sharma hit 118 runs in 43 balls, reaching the 100-run mark in just 35 balls. He ended up with 12 fours, 10 sixes, and a strike rate of 274.42.

4. David Miller (South Africa) – 35 Balls

David Miller showcased his class while finishing for South Africa. He had a stellar performance against Bangladesh on 29th October 2017. He walked in at number five and scored 101 runs in 36 balls, remaining not out till the end. He scored his century in just 35 balls with the help of seven fours and nine sixes, making it one of the fastest centuries in history. He ended with a strike rate of 280.55.

3. Kushal Malla (Nepal) – 34 Balls

Kushal Malla is a cricketer from Nepal who had one of his career-best performances against Mongolia on 27th September 2023. He scored 137 runs in just 50 balls, ending with eight fours, 12 sixes, and a strike rate of 274.00. He achieved his century in just 34 balls, making this the third-fastest century in T20I cricket history.

2. Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton (Namibia) – 33 Balls

Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton is a batting all-rounder who plays for the Namibia cricket team. He faced Nepal on 2727th February 2024 and put in a performance of a lifetime. He scored 101 runs in 36 balls, reaching the 100-run mark in just 33 balls. He scored 11 fours and eight sixes, ending his innings with a strike rate of 280.56.
