Erling Haaland is the most obvious captaincy pick for Fantasy Premier League Gameweek 8. The striker has scored 10 goals in just seven Premier League games and seems to be in amazing form. Bukayo Saka is the next clear captaincy choice for this week. The midfielder has nine goal involvements in the Premier League already. While Haaland is the clear choice due to City’s dominance and Haaland’s goal-scoring abilities, some may choose to captain Bukayo Saka due to Haaland blanking in the last two weeks and Saka returning 16 points against Southampton last week.

He faces Fulham in Gameweek 8 of Fantasy Premier League, and it is likely that he will be in on the action again. While there are other captaincy picks available, some may choose to try and make up some lost points by using a differential captain like Ollie Watkins.

Cole Palmer is, without a shadow of a doubt, the most in-form player in the league as of now. The midfielder scored five goals and provided one assist in his last three games. He has returned 39 points in the last three weeks and would be the obvious captaincy choice if he was not playing against Liverpool. The only problem is he plays one of the toughest defences in the league in Gameweek 8. However, some may still choose to captain him, given the form the English star has been in.

Dominic Solanke did not settle well at Tottenham Hotspur and struggled at the start of the season. However, he seems to have gotten his groove back and has contributed in each of the last three games. Tottenham will face West Ham United in Gameweek 8 of Fantasy Premier League, a team that has not enjoyed the best start to the season. This can be the perfect opportunity for Solanke to announce himself at his new club and can turn into an incredible captain pick.
