FanSuper League: new fantasy cricket app on the block

A new fantasy cricket mobile application called FanSuperLeague (FSL) has made entry into the Indian fantasy sports industry. The FSL platform has been launched by Winning Combo Pvt. Ltd., a Mumbai-based gaming company. The app was made available on Monday, 11^th March itself.

The app is a basic fantasy sports one where users can create their own fantasy cricket teams based on upcoming real cricket matches, including the entire international as well as domestic leagues prevailing across the globe, the firm stated.

Users can also join multiplayer contests or play with their family and friends privately. Every player on the app will be tagged with a unique referral code which they can send to their friends to earn referral money. Currently, only cricket is offered as of now with no comment on expansion by the firm.

Nitin Nachnani, CEO of Winning Combo said, “We at FSL, aim to give the best experience to our users. The app has been developed keeping in mind the growing Indian gaming industry and have made sure to stand out from our competitors in terms of gaming structure, points system and unique features such as notifications widgets and Quiz Module in our app.”

Along with the above features, the firm has confirmed another new feature to be added in a couple of months called ‘Going forward QUIZ’ wherein users can paly amongst themselves in real-time and win cash money. Here are some screenshots of the FSL app:

Nachnani further added, “We are excited to introduce the FanSuperLeague app for Indian sports lovers complementing the fantasy gaming industry. FSL is a fantasy gaming app which provides the opportunity to drag in skills of sports and to win cash rewards for participating in various contests.”

With fantasy sports giants like Dream11, who just crossed the 5 Crore user-mark and is expected to become a $1 billion company, and budding new ventures like 11Wickets, etc. in the industry, it will be a big challenge for FSL to make an impact.

However, the industry has been growing by leaps and bounds in the last few years and many big names like Paytm and others have entered in the fantasy sports sector to grab a piece of the pie and they all may get it if they work hard.
