Fans Urge BCCI For Sanju Samson’s Inclusion In The T20I Squad

Despite his antics in the longest format of the game, Indian star Rishabh Pant has been unable to crack the T20 Internationals so far. The wicketkeeper batter has failed to get going in the 20-over games and boasts a poor strike rate while featuring for the Men in Blue. It also saw the 24-year-old being benched from India’s XI against Pakistan before being called back for the remaining games.

Pant has failed to find his rhythm despite featuring in all remaining games with the left-hander getting a lot of flak for his scores in Asia Cup 2022. Citing Pant’s poor form, many Indian cricket fans want Rahul Dravid and co to rope in Sanju Samson in the national team for the T20I format.

The southpaw is seen as a better choice than Rishabh Pant with stats also backing the Rajasthan Royals skipper. Former Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir also seems to be a fan of Sanju Samson with the 2011 World Cup winner also backing the thought of roping in Kerala based star in the Indian team.

Is there any reason why this 2M+ followers account @Cricketracker posting fake stats?

These stats are not true, for eg. just recently only Sanju scored 77 runs against Ireland while they mentioned his HS as 55 & there are many other things too

The 27 year old has been a solid player since the start of the year for the Men in Blue scoring close to 300 runs in 15 innings.  He is expected to be a member of the Indian team that will square off against Australia in their upcoming outings as well and prove his mettle to be to the flight down under for the ICC event in October.
