England had recorded only 1 win in 12 matches in the current ICC WTC cycle before the NZ series. However, three consecutive wins has helped them improve their position on the table. The Three Lions will also be playing one more Test when they square off against India at Edgbaston. Stokes and co will be eager to keep winning momentum when they square off against the Men in Blue at Birmingham.
The Three Lions’ points percentage has gone up from 23.81% to 28.89% after the Leeds clash. They now have
52 points against their name after playing in four series. Earlier, England were penalized 12 points due to slow over rate in previous matches. Despite moving up on the WTC table, Stokes and co have work to do.
