The English skipper says, ” Really proud of everyone here. It’s been a fantastic tournament. We went to Pakistan before coming here, which was a valuable time for the group. he has fitted in really well. Huge swing in the game, fantastic over from Adil. Has been outstanding for us in the last three games, just the guy who makes things happen.”
He added, “When you hit a length there is some movement. We managed to get away to a start but it wasn’t easy. Ben Stokes just perfect at the end. He is the ultimate competitor in anything he does. Has the experience as well. That phase with Moeen Ali, just took it away from Pakistan.”
The Pakistan skipper is quoted saying, “Congratulations to England, they fought well. I just told the boys to play our natural game, but we fell 20 runs short and the boys fought well with the ball. Unfortunately Shaheen’s injury put us off, but that’s part of the game.”
The youngster wins the the player of the match as well as the player of the series award for his performances in the ICC T20 World Cup 2022! Here’s what he had to say, ” I don’t think I should be getting this, I think Ben Stokes should get this (PoTM.). I mixed it up with slower balls to make it tough for the batter. Incredibly special. Azaming crowd. I wanted to be adaptable coming into the tournament. Needed to be good with the bat too. How good is it to be a World Champ!”
Ben Stokes said, “In finals especially when chasing.. you probably forget all the hard work before that, how we bowled, Adil Rashid and Sam Curran won us the game. It was a tricky wicket and one that you never felt in, so to restrict them to 130-odd bowlers have to take a lot of credit for that.”
He added, ” In tournaments like these you can’t carry baggage with you, that was a little blip on the way, credit to Ireland for turning up and beating us, but the best teams learn from their mistakes and not let it affect them. Representing your country in World Cups is amazing.. but it has been a good one.
Moeen Ali: This is one of my best days of cricketing career. It was a pleasure to win against a brilliant Pakistan side. It is just about keeping my intent. Stokesy played some great shots.
Harry Brook : I always thought we could win this WC with this squad. It was a phenomenal day.
Alex Hales: Incredibly great feeling. This is the icing on the cake. I did take my time. They are a high quality bowling attack. My feet were coming in the way. Was a decent delivery

ENG vs PAK Live Updates, Match Details, Ball To Ball Commentary and Everything You Need To Know: The Super 12 phase of the ICC T20 World Cup saw many upsets before the tournament’s finals. The final clash sees England take on Pakistan at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. This fixture is set to be played on 13th November 2022 and handed a kick-off time at 1: 30 PM IST.
After thrashing India in the second semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2022, England’s morale is high. T20 World Cup 2022 was a roller coaster ride, where the hosts were eliminated instead of winning three games. On the other hand, Pakistan, who were out of the tournament, qualified for the semi-finals and defeated New Zealand to become the first team to march into the season finale.
Both Pakistan and England had played plenty of games together, but when it came to T20 World Cup, England met Pakistan two times in the contest, where the Red Army defeated Pakistan twice. The way England played against India, they can easily outplay Pakistan and are on the upper edge in the contest.
