Dangal Games Venture Into Fantasy Sports With Fantasy Dangal

Through this platform, Dangal Games aims to give its users a one-of-a-kind experience. This launch perfectly coincides with the start of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 on 9 April, which will give the platform a boost on its entry.

“FantasyDangal is our first product outside the card game space so we are excited about how it will perform. We will begin with cricket and will add rest of the games in the next quarter. Unlike poker or rummy, fantasy sports caters to a larger audience so there is no dearth of opportunities to create a huge user base despite being an intensely competitive industry,” said Mahna.

Unlike other skill-gaming platforms in the country like poker or rummy, there are no legal barriers with fantasy sports. Ruled as a game of skill by the Supreme Court, fantasy sports have a continued rise in popularity among many sports fans in the country. With cricket being the most popular sport and football following close behind, many fantasy sports startups like Dream11 have experienced tremendous success.
