Klaus Allofs made his first Bundesliga appearance in 1975 for Fortuna Dusseldorf. His last Bundesliga appearance came with Wender Bremen in 1993. In this period, the German striker made 424 appearances and scored 177 goals. Allofs played for Fortuna Dusseldorf, FC Koln, and Wender Bremen. He scored 71 goals in 169 appearances for Dusseldorf, 88 goals in 177 appearances for Koln, and 18 goals in 78 appearances for Wender Bremen. He ended his Bundesliga career with a goals-per-game ratio of 0.42.

Dieter Muller represented multiple Bundesliga teams between 1973 and 1986. He scored 159 goals in 248 appearances for FC Koln, 14 goals in 30 appearances for VfB Stuttgart, and four goals in 23 appearances for FC Saarbrucken. While Dieter Muller started his Bundesliga career with Kickers Offenbach, he played just two games for them and failed to score a single goal. His final tally comes up to 177 goals scored in 303 games, making his goals-per-game ratio 0.58.

Stefan Kuntz was a German striker who made his Bundesliga debut in 1983 with VfL Bochum. He also ended his Bundesliga career with them in 1999. He represented four Bundesliga teams in his career. He scored 47 goals in 120 appearances for VfL Bochum, 32 goals in 94 appearances for Bayer 05 Uerdingen, 75 goals in 170 appearances for FC Kaiserslautern, and 25 goals in 65 appearances for Arminia Bielefeld. He ended his Bundesliga career with a goals-per-game ratio of 0.40, having scored 179 goals in 449 appearances.
Ulf Kirsten only played for one Bundesliga team in his entire career. He moved to Bayer Leverkusen in 1990 and stayed with them till he retired in 2003. He played 350 games for Leverkusen and scored 181 goals. This puts his goals-per-game ratio at 0.52.

Claudio Pizarro is one of the only two players in the top 10 scorers who is not a German. Pizarro is a Peruvian international who played in the Bundesliga between 1999 and 2020. He scored 197 goals in 480 appearances, finishing with a 0.40 goals-per-game ratio in the league. He scored 109 goals in 250 appearances for Wender Bremen, 87 goals in 224 games for Bayern Munich, and 1 goal in 16 appearances for FC Koln.

Manfred Burgsmuller represented Rot-Weiss Essen, Borussia Dortmund, FC Nurnberg, and Wender Bremen in the Bundesliga between 1969 and 1990. He scored 32 goals in 74 appearances for Essen, 135 goals in 224 appearances for Dortmund, 12 goals in 34 appearances for Nurnberg, and 34 goals in 115 appearances for Wender Bremen. He ended his Bundesliga career with a goals-per-game ratio of 0.48, having scored 213 goals in 447 games in the league.

Juup Heynckes spent almost his entire career in the Bundesliga. He played for only two teams in his entire career. He represented Borussia Monchengladbach and Hannover 96. Most of his goals came while playing for Borussia Monchengladbach. He scored 195 goals in 283 appearances for Monchengladbach and 25 goals in 86 appearances for Hannover. Heynckes scored 220 Bundesliga goals in 369 games, achieving an impressive goals-per-game ratio of 0.60.

Klaus Fischer spent his entire career playing in the Bundesliga. He played for four different teams in his career. He represented 1860 Munich, Schalke 04, FC Koln, and VfL Bochum. He scored 28 goals in 60 appearances for Munich, 31 goals in 96 appearances for Koln, and 27 goals in 84 appearances for Bochum. However, most of his goals came when he played for Schalke. Fischer scored 182 goals in 295 appearances for Schalke. He ended his Bundesliga career with a goals-per-game ratio of 0.50.

Robert Lewandowski is the second and final player on this list who is not a German. The Polish striker has represented two teams in the Bundesliga. Lewandowski is also the only active player in the top 10 goal scorers. Lewandowski played in Bundesliga from 2010 to 2022. He started his Bundesliga career with Borussia Dortmund and scored 74 goals in 131 appearances for them. He solidified his legacy in the league once he joined Bayern Munich. He played 253 games for Bayern and scored 238 goals. This takes his total goals tally to 312 goals scored in 384 games, which makes him the second-highest goal scorer in the Bundesliga. This gives Lewandowski a very impressive goals-per-game ratio of 0.81.

Gerd Muller is the top goal scorer in the Bundesliga. He played for just one team in the Bundesliga. He played for Bayern Munich from 1964 to 1979. During this time, he played 427 games for them in the league and scored 365 goals. This means Gerd Muller ended his Bundesliga career with a goals-per-game ratio of 0.85, which is the highest of anyone with more than 100 goals in the league.
