Blitzpools Pledges To Support India Fight COVID-19 Crisis By Creating Free Pools

Blitzpools has pledged to support the country during the ongoing COVID-19 crisis. The brand is one of India’s fastest-growing fantasy sports platforms. BlitzPools will raise funds with the help of users of their platform. 

The brand urges fantasy sports players to be a part of this initiative by creating teams on Free pool which will eventually be named ‘COVID-19 Relief.’ This pool will enable players to create up to five teams every day over the next five days. As a part of the initiative, the brand will also contribute ₹5 to each team as a contribution from their side. 

The funds will be donated to the Helping Hands Foundation, which will be utilized for food and medical aid, to marginalized communities. For Oxygen support, vaccination aid, vaccination centre support, and healthcare professionals will also receive help from the foundation. 

Apart from this, Blitzpools is actively aiding the distribution of food boxes with the help of Helping Hand foundations to the families that have been affected by COVID-19. 

The fantasy sports platform will also urge its brand ambassadors to come forward and offer help in the current time of crisis. Talking about the initiative, Vickram and Gaurav Assomull, the founders of Blitzpools said, “It is a difficult time for India, and we are all in this together. We need to fight this pandemic as one and our users who form an integral part of our Blitzpools family will help us achieve our goal.”

Further, mentioning the association with the Helping Hand Foundation, the Assomull brothers stated, “We are extremely happy to be associated with this foundation and we thank them for their continuous efforts to make the country a better place.”
