Charles Bannerman became the first cricketer in history to score a century on his Test debut. He achieved this feat in a game against England on 15th March 1877 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne. Bannerman scored 165 runs in the first inning without losing his wicket. His team ended up winning that match.
Harry Graham scored a century on his Test debut against the England cricket team on 17th July 1893 at Lord’s, London. He scored 107 runs in the second inning of the match to help Australia get a draw against England.
Reggie Duff scored a century in his Test debut in the third inning of the match. The match took place between Australia and England on 1st January 1902 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne. Duff managed to score 104 runs and helped Australia win the game.
Roger Hartigan scored a century against the England cricket team on 10th January 1908 at the Adelaide Oval, Adelaide. He scored 116 runs in the third inning on his Test debut to help the Australian cricket team win the match.
Herbie Collins had a brilliant showing in the third inning of his Test debut on 17th December 1920 against the England cricket team at the Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney. Collins scored 104 runs to help guide the Australian cricket team to victory.
Bill Ponsford scored a century in his Test debut on 19th December 1924 at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Ponsford scored 110 runs in the first inning against the England cricket teams to help his team win.
Archie Jackson would, according to contemporary reporters, have gone on to become one of the great batsmen. In his eight Tests he averaged 47.40 and made 164 on his Test debut v England aged 19. Archie Jackson had a brilliant showing against the England cricket team on 1st February 1929 at the Adelaide Oval. He scored a century in his debut game, scoring 164 runs in the second inning. However, his efforts were in vain, and Australia ended up losing the game.
Jim Burke made his Test debut for the Australian cricket team and scored a century at the Adelaide Oval, Adelaide on 2nd February 1951. Burke hit 101 runs without losing his wicket in the third inning against the England cricket team to help guide Australia to victory.
Doug Walters scored 155 runs in the first inning against the England cricket team on his Test debut. He did so on 10th December 1965 at the Brisbane Cricket Ground, Brisbane. However, the match ended up ending in a draw.
Greg Chappell helped Australia get a draw against the England cricket team on 11th December 1970 at the WACA Ground, Perth, in his debut Test game. He scored 108 runs in the second inning to become the 10th Australian to score a century in their debut game.

Gary Cosier scored 109 runs in the second inning in his debut Test game against the West Indies cricket team on 26th December 1975 at Melbourne Cricket Ground, Melbourne. This helped Australia win this game.
Dirk Wellham made an impressive debut in the Test format on 27th August 1981. He played against the England cricket team at The Oval, London, and scored a century, including 103 runs in the third inning to help Australia draw.
Kelper Wessels made 162 runs in the second inning of the game between the Australian and the England cricket teams. He made his Test debut at the Brisbane Cricket Ground, Brisbane, on 26th November 1982 and scored a century to guide Australia to victory.
Wayne Phillips scored a century on his Test debut against the Pakistan cricket team on 11th November 1983 at the WACA Ground, Perth . He scored 159 runs in the first inning of the match to help Australia win the game against Pakistan.

Mark Waugh scored a century in his Test debut in the first inning of the match. The match took place between the Australian and England cricket teams on 25th January 1991 at the Adelaide Oval, Adelaide. Waugh managed to score 138 runs and helped Australia get a draw.
Greg Blewett scored a century against the England cricket team on 26th January 1995 at the Adelaide Oval, Adelaide. He scored 102 runs in the second inning on his Test debut without losing his wicket. However, it was all in vain, as Australia lost the game.
Michael Clarke had a brilliant showing in the first inning of his Test debut on 6th October 2004 against the Indian cricket team at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore. Clarke scored 151 runs to help guide the Australian cricket team to victory.
Marcus North scored a century in his Test debut on 26th February 2009 at the New Wanderers, Johannesburg. North scored 117 runs in the first inning against the South African cricket teams to help his team get the win.
Shaun Marsh had a brilliant showing against the Sri Lanka cricket team on 8th September 2011 at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium, Pallekele. He scored a century in his debut game, scoring 141 runs in the second inning. This helped Australia get a draw against Sri Lanka.
Adam Voges scored a century on his Test debut on 3rd June 2015 at Windsor Park, Roseau, against the West Indies cricket team. He scored 130 runs in the second inning without losing his wicket to help guide Australia to a win.

Josh Inglish recently became the latest Australian to score a century on their Test debut, becoming the first Australian to do so after over a decade. Inglish managed to score 102 runs in the first inning and became the 21st Australian cricketer to have scored a century on their Test debut.
