Asia Cup 2022: 3 Best Players From Every Squad: Sri Lanka will host Asia Cup 2022 in UAE. A total of 13 matches will take place during the tournament. India, the tournament’s defending champion, won the title in 2018 by defeating Bangladesh in the final. 

Sri Lanka will host the current edition of Asia Cup 2022 in UAE, where the first game of the contest is scheduled to be played between India and Pakistan. Six teams will participate in the grand event, and each will try hard to dethrone team India and win the great event.

Virat Kohli 

Regarding team India, you cannot keep Virat Kohli aside. Seeing him performing in IPL, we thought that this bowler would do good in the future, but I didn’t know that he would cement his place for himself this quickly into the squad. Bowling with an economy of 6.33, Singh had played six games for team India, where he managed to pick six wickets. I agree, the stats are decent, but the way he bowls and the quality of seam he brings into the squad is beautiful. With Jasprit Bumrah not on the team, it would be a golden opportunity for Singh to showcase his skills and show what he got. 

Pakistan

Babar Azam

The Pakistan team is growing, with several new faces joining the ranks, but one man who has remained a constant feature for the national team is their mercurial leader Babar Azam. He is the best player in the world and is the only factor that can be a trump card for Pakistan to defeat team India. Under Azam’s guidance, Pakistan has grown well, where the squad has dominated almost every team. 

Fakhar Zaman

We all know how dangerous Fakhar Zaman can be if standing on the crease. Zaman is Pakistan’s finest batter, where under Azam’s captaincy, he is growing out to be the best among all. Zaman had played 130 games for Pakistan, where he had scored more than 3000 runs with seven centuries and a strike rate of 93.6 in ODIs and 134.9 in T20Is. You can’t keep Zaman out of your list with these stats if it’s white bowl cricket. 

Mohammad Rizwan

Mohammad Rizwan could be chosen as a wicket-keeper-batsman in the competition. Rizwan has been a regular member of Pakistan’s ODI and T20I teams for many years. The right-handed batsman recently scored 85 runs, including one fifty, in three One-Day Internationals against the West Indies. He is currently Pakistan’s top wicket-keeper option.

Mustafizur Rahman
