10. David Jack – 124 Goals

David Jack was a phenomenal footballer who played as an Inside Forward throughout his career. He represented the Gooners across six seasons, playing for them from the 1928/29 to the 1933/34 season. David Jack made a total of 208 appearances for them across all competitions and managed to score 124 goals. This makes his goals-per-game ratio during his Arsenal career 0.60. They was the last club David Jack represented in his career. He started his football journey at Plymouth Argyle before spending a huge chunk of his career at Bolton Wanderers.

9. Joe Hulme – 125 Goals

Joe Hulme is one of the biggest legends in Arsenal’s history. Although he is a winger, he has managed to get himself on this list. Hulme played for York City and Blackburn Rovers before joining the Gooners in 1926. He ended up playing for them from 1926 to 1938, making a total of 374 appearances for them while scoring 125 goals. Joe Hulme ended his career at the club with a goals-per-game ratio of 0.33. Hulme managed to win various prestigious awards with the Gooners, including three Football League First Division, two FA Cups, and one FA Charity Shield.

8. Robin van Persie – 132 Goals

Robin van Persie is a Dutch striker who played for Feyenoord before joining Arsenal. Robin van Persie joined the Gooners in 2004 and continued to play for them till 2012 before joining rival side Manchester United ahead of the 2013/13 season. During his stint with the Gooners, van Persie made a total of 278 appearances and scored 132 goals at a goals-per-game ratio of 0.48. While Robin van Persie joined rival club Manchester United and won the league title with them, something he never managed to do while playing for Arsenal, he will still go down in history as one of Arsenal’s biggest legends.

7. Doug Lishman – 137 Goals

Ryan Giggs is another big legend and icon in Arsenal’s history. He played for three teams aside from the Gooners in his career, namely Paget Rangers, Walsall, and Nottingham Forest. However, the majority of his career was spent while representing Arsenal. Doug Lishman ended up playing for the Gooners from 1948 to 1956, scoring 137 goals for them in 244 appearances across all competitions. This puts Lishman’s goals-per-game ratio at 0.56. The English star ended up winning the 1952/53 Football League First Division title and the 1953 FA Charity Shield while playing for the Gooners.

5. Ted Drake – 139 Goals

Ted Drake is an English professional footballer who played as a centre-forward throughout his career. Drake has played for only two teams throughout his career, Southampton and Arsenal. He represented Southampton at the start of his career before moving to Arsenal in 1934. Ted Drake played for the Gooners from 1934 to 1945, making 184 appearances for them across all competitions. He scored 139 goals for the Gooners at an astonishing goals-per-game ratio of 0.76, making him one of the highest goal-scorers in Arsenal’s history.

5. Jimmy Brain – 139 Goals

Jimmy Brain is an English professional footballer who played for Arsenal from 1923 to 1931. He played for various teams like Ton Pentre, Tottenham Hotspur, Swansea City, Bristol City, and Cheltenham Town, but the majority of his domestic career was spent while playing for English Premier League side Arsenal. He made a total of 232 appearances for the club in all competitions and ended up scoring 139 goals for them at a goals-per-game ratio of 0.60. He and Ted Drake are tied for the fifth position on this, with both of them scoring 139 goals for the Gooners.

4. John Radford – 149 Goals

John Radford had an amazing football career and will go down in history as one of the forwards in Arsenal’s history. Radford played for four teams throughout his career, namely Arsenal, West Ham United, Blackburn Rovers, and Bishop’s Stortford. However, his career started while playing for the Gooners, where he spent the majority of his football career. Radford represented the Gooners from 1964 to 1976, scoring 149 goals for them in 481 appearances at a goals-per-game ratio of 0.31. Radford won various honours with Arsenal, including the title of the Football League First Division, the FA Cup, and the Inter-Cities Fairs Cup.

Cliff Bastin is an English professional footballer who played as a left winger and spent almost the entirety of his career representing the Arsenal football club. Bastin’s football career started at Exeter City, but he left after just one season to join the Gooners. He never ended up leaving and played for the Gooners from 1929 to 1947 before deciding to hand up his boots. Bastin ended up making 396 appearances for Arsenal in all competitions. He scored 178 goals in these games and ended his career at the club with a goals-per-game ratio of 0.45.

2. Ian Wright – 185 Goals

Ian Wright is one of the biggest legends in not only Arsenal’s history but also in the history of the England Premier League. The English star played as a forward throughout his career and is still the second-highest goal scorer in Arsenal’s history. Wright played for a plethora of clubs during his domestic career, including Crystal Palace, West Ham United, Nottingham Forest, and Burnley. However, almost the entirety of his career was divided between Crystal Palace and Arsenal. Wright ended up playing for the Gooners from 1991 to 1998 and scored 185 goals for them in 288 appearances at a goals-per-game ratio of 0.64.
