Armando Sadiku moved to Lugano in the 2012/13 season and stayed with them for two seasons before joining Zurich. This is the team where Sadiku probably spent the most time in his career, playing for them from the 2013/14 season till the 2016/17 season, making appearances for the first team as well as the U21 team. However, even during this stint, he was sent out on loan twice, to Vaduz in the 2015/16 season and to Lugano in the 2016/17 season. The Albanian forward joined Bolivian Primera Division side Bolivar for the 2021 season before moving to Las Palmas ahead of the 2021/22 season.
