10. Pierino Prati – 102 Goals

Pierino Prati was an Italian striker who played for multiple prestigious clubs during his professional football career. He represented teams like Salernitana, AS Roma, Fiorentina, and Savona but spent a major chunk of his career playing for AC Milan. He represented the Italian club from 1966 to 1973 and ended up scoring 102 goals for them in 209 appearances across all competitions at a goals-per-game ratio of 0.49. Despite his stellar goal-scoring record, he ended up winning just one Serie A title while playing for AC Milan, which came in the 1967/68 season.

9. Kaka – 104 Goals

Kaka is a Brazilian professional footballer who played for some very prestigious teams and is known for his time at both Real Madrid and AC Milan. He is regarded as one of the best attacking midfielders of all time. AC Milan was Kaka’s first big club, and he had two different stints with them. He played for them from 2003 to 2009 before moving to Real Madrid. After his stint with Los Blancos, he joined Milan again, representing them in the 2013/14 season. Giuseppe Santagostino is regarded as one of the biggest legends in AC Milan’s history. The Italian striker was simply incredible and fun to watch and reportedly played for AC Milan, Cantanzaro, Nice, and Atalanta. However, a major chunk of his career was spent while representing AC Milan, the club he played for from 1921 to 1932. During his stint at the club, the Italian star ended up making a total of 236 appearances across all competitions and scored 106 goals at a goals-per-game ratio of 0.45. This makes Giuseppe Santagostino one of the highest goal scorers in AC Milan’s history.

7. Marco van Basten – 125 Goals

Marco van Basten was a Dutch striker who played for just two clubs during his career. He played for only Ajad and AC Milan in the entirety of his career, starting his career at Ajax and playing for them from 1981 to 1987 before moving to the Serie A. Marco van Basten played for the Italian club from 1987 to 1995. During this time, he ended up scoring 125 goals for them while making 201 appearances across all competitions, which makes his goals-per-game ratio 0.62. He helped AC Milan win four Serie A titles, two Supercoppa Italiana titles, two European Cups, two European Super Cups, and two Intercontinental Cups.

6. Filippo Inzaghi – 126 Goals

Filippo Inzaghi was an Italian professional footballer who played for various clubs during his professional career, namely Piacenza, Leffe, Verona, Parma, Atalanta, Juventus, and AC Milan. Inzaghi was a legendary striker who played for AC Milan from 2001 to 2012 before deciding to hand up his boots and retire from the beautiful game. The talented striker managed to make 300 appearances and score 126 goals across all competitions with a goals-per-game ratio of 0.42 during his time with AC Milan. His efforts made Inzaghi one of Milan’s biggest legends, and he will surely remembered by generations to come.

5. Aldo Boffi – 131 Goals

Aldo Boffi had an amazing football career and will go down in history as one of the greatest forwards in AC Milan’s history. The Italian striker played for a total of three clubs in his football career, namely Seregno, AC Milan, and Atalanta. He played for AC Milan from 1936 to 1945, representing them in eight seasons and making a total of 187 appearances for them while scoring 131 goals across all competitions. This puts his goals-per-game ratio at a very good 0.70, something that Aldo Boffi should be proud of.

4. Jose Altafini – 161 Goals

Jose Altafini is regarded as one of the biggest legends in AC Milan’s history. He actually played for both the Brazilian and Italian national teams and represented various prestigious clubs in his domestic career, including Palmeiras, AC Milan, Juventus, and Napoli. He played for Milan from 1958 to 1965, making 246 appearances for the club during this time and scored 161 goals with a goals-per-game ratio of 0.66. Sandro Mazzola ended up winning various trophies while playing for Milan, including two Serie A titles and one European Cup.

3. Gianni Rivera – 164 Goals

Gianni Rivera was an Italian forward who played for just two clubs in the entirety of his domestic career. He started his professional football career at Alessandria before moving to AC Milan after just one season. Rivera then spent 1960 to 1979 with Milan, representing them in 19 different seasons, making 658 appearances across all competitions and scoring 164 goals at a goals-per-game ratio of 0.25. This ratio is actually very low, and the main reason why Gianni Rivera is on this list is not because of his brilliant finishing ability but because of his longevity while playing for the Italian club.

2. Andriy Shevchenko – 175 Goals

Andriy Shevchenko was a Ukrainian professional footballer who played as a strike throughout his career. While he also played for Dynamo Kyiv and Chelsea, he is most well known for his time spent with Italian side AC Milan. The talented striker represented Milan from 1999 to 2006 and ended up scoring 175 goals for them while making 322 appearances across all competitions. This makes his goals-per-game ratio 0.54, and Shevchenko ended up winning the Serie A, the Coppa Italia, the Supercoppa Italiana, the UEFA Champions League, and the UEFA Super Cup while at the club.
