The dates of Abu Dhabi T10 2022 edition have been announced which sees the league kick off on 23rd November. The tournament will be played at the Zayed Cricket Stadium with the final scheduled for 4th December. It is set to follow the same structure as last year with every participating team set to feature in 10 league matches. The top four teams at the end of league stages will qualify for the playoffs and battle it out for the coveted trophy.

Defending champions Deccan Gladiators will be focused on retaining their title while Delhi Bulls, Chennai Braves, Northern Warriors, Bangla Tigers, and Team Abu Dhabi focus to dethrone Gladiators this time around. The 2022 winners relied on super star singings that included the likes of Andre Russell, Faf du Plessis, alongside the English trio of Moeen Ali, Eoin Morgan, and Liam Livingstone with Wahab Riaz leading the team.
They will be eager to rope world-class players and compete while the other teams look to sign up few of the best players from across the world. Various talents from the UAE men’s national team are also set to be a part of the 2022 Official Draft which is set to take place later this year.
The 2022 Abu Dhabi T10 will be the fourth year of the tournament after Ten Sports Management, Abu Dhabi Cricket Abu Dhabi Sports Council and Abu Dhabi ‘s Department of Culture and Tourism joined hands by signing a five-year deal for the shortest format of franchise cricket.
Aref Al Awani, General Secretary of Abu Dhabi Sports Council spoke about the tournaments’ growth and was quoted saying, “Through our partnership with the Abu Dhabi T10, we have further positioned Abu Dhabi as a major sporting global hub and consistently demonstrated the city’s ability to both build, and host, one of cricket’s most entertaining competitions.”
“This is evidence of the success of a significant strategic objective of the Abu Dhabi government; to create and deliver sporting events that contribute to enhancing the emirate’s leadership in global sports,” he added.
