Shubman Gill scored one of his highest-ever scores in the Indian Premier League (IPL) against the Rajasthan Royals on 10th April 2024. The Rajasthan Royals batted first, and good performances by Sanju Samson (68 runs in 38 balls) and Riyan Parag (76 runs in 48 balls) saw them set a target of 197 for the Gujarat Titans to chase down. While this was quite a high target, Shubman Gill took charge of the chase and put in a brilliant performance of his own. He scored 72 runs in 44 balls at a strike rate of 163.6 to help the Gujarat Titans chase the score down in the last ball of the inning to win the game by three wickets.
The game between the Kolkata Knight Riders and the Mumbai Indians, which took place on 28th April 2019, saw Gill put in a fantastic performance. KKR batted first, and Chris Lynn (54 runs in 29 balls) and Andre Russell (80 runs in 40 balls) helped Shubman Gill set an extremely high target. Gill scored 76 runs in 45 balls at a strike rate of 168.9 to help his team reach 232. The Mumbai Indians tried valiantly to chase this score, and Hardik Pandya (91 runs in 34 balls) did incredibly well, but KKR were able to restrict them to 198 in 20 overs and ended up winning the game by a margin of 34 runs.

Shubman Gill’s incredible performance against the Delhi Capitals, which took place on 2nd April 2022, was completely in vain. GT batted first, and while the rest of the team struggled to get going, Gill managed to score 84 runs in 46 balls at a strike rate of 182.6. His innings included six fours and four sixes and helped GT set a target of 172 for the Delhi Capitals to try and chase down. While it looked like the Delhi Capitals may be able to chase this score down, Lockie Ferguson managed to pick up four wickets to prevent them from doing so, and the Gujarat Titans ended up winning the game by 14 runs.
Shubman Gill put in a brilliant shift against the Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League on 4th April 2024. GT batted first, and while Wriddhiman Saha lost his wicket quite cheaply, Shubman Gill stood strong. He scored 89 runs in 48 balls at a strike rate of 185.4 to help his team reach a total of 199 in 20 overs. While GT managed to set a decent target, it all turned out to be in vain. Shashank Singh managed to score 61 runs in 29 balls at a strike rate of 210.3 and helped PBKS chase the score down in 19.5 overs, helping his team win the game by three wickets with just one ball to spare.
Shubman Gill scored one of his highest scores in IPL on 7th May 2023 against the Lucknow Super Giants. Gujarat Titans batted first, and Wriddhiman Saha (81 runs in 43 balls), Hardik Pandya (25 runs in 15 balls), and David Miller (21 runs in 12 balls) all put in good performances. However, it was Shubman Gill who was once again their star performer. He scored 94 runs in 51 balls at a strike rate of 184.3 without losing his wicket to help GT reach a total of 227. LSG tried their best to chase this down, but Gujarat Titans managed to restrict them to just 171 in 20 overs and won the game by a margin of 56 runs.

The game between the Gujarat Titans and the Punjab Kings, which took place on 8th April 2022, saw Gill put in a brilliant shift. Punjab Kings batted first, and a brilliant performance by Liam Livingstone, who scored 64 runs in 27 balls at a strike rate of 237, saw them set a target of 190 for the Gujarat Titans to chase. While Sai Sudharsan and Hardik Pandya contributed to this chase, the star performance came by Shubman Gill, who managed to score 96 runs in 59 balls at a strike rate of 162.7. This helped the Gujarat Titans chase the score down in the last ball of the inning and win the game by six wickets.

Shubman Gill’s first century in the Indian Premier League came against the Sunrisers Hyderabad on 15th May 2023. Gujarat Titans batted first, and only two players managed to reach double figures, with Sai Sudharsan scoring 47 runs in 36 balls and Shubman Gill scoring 101 runs in 58 balls. This was Gill’s maiden IPL century, and it helped his team set a target of 189 for SRH to chase down. While Heinrich Klaasen did well for the Sunrisers Hyderabad, his performance alone was not enough to help SRH over the line, and GT ended up restricting them to 154, winning the game by a margin of 34 runs.
Shubman Gill scored his first and second Indian Premier League centuries in consecutive games. After the game against SRH on 15th May, he backed his performance by scoring a century against the Royal Challengers Bangalore on 21st May 2023. RCB batted first, and Virat Kohli managed to score a century without losing his wicket, which helped RCB set a target of 198. While this was a tough target, Shubman Gill responded with a century of his own. He scored 104 runs in 52 balls at a strike rate of 200 without losing his wicket to help the Gujarat Titans chase the score down in 19.1 overs and win the game by six wickets.

Both their openers, Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill, ended up scoring a century. Gill scored 104 runs in 55 balls at a strike rate of 189.1 to help his team reach a mammoth total of 231. Chennai Super Kings actually did quite well during the chase thanks to Daryl Mitchell, Moeen Ali, and Mahendra Singh Dhoni, but the Gujarat Titans bowlers ended up restricting CSK to a total of just 196, and they managed to win the game by a margin of 35 runs.

Shubman Gill scored his highest score in IPL on 26th May 2023 against the Mumbai Indians in the second qualifier. Gujarat Titans batted first, and while Sai Sudharsan (43 runs in 31 balls) and Hardik Pandya (28 runs in 13 balls) contributed, the best performance came by their captain, Shubman Gill. The Indian batsman scored 129 runs in 60 balls at a strike rate of 215 to help GT set a target of 234 for the Mumbai Indians to chase down. MI tried to chase this down in a bid to reach the IPL 2023 final, but GT bowled them out for just 171 and won the game by a margin of 62 runs.
