Sebastian Abreu is a Uruguayan striker who played for the Uruguayan men’s football team from 1996 to 2012. He scored 26 goals for his country in 70 games, finishing with a goals-per-game ratio of 0.37. The Uruguayan star played for a plethora of teams throughout his career. In fact, he represented 26 different teams in his domestic career. He ended his career by playing most of the games for the Brazilian club Botafogo.

6. Oscar Miguez – 27 Goals

Oscar Miguez is a Uruguayan legend who played forward for the Uruguayan football team. He represented his country from 1950 to 1958, making 39 appearances for them while scoring 27 goals at a goals-per-game ratio of 0.69. These clubs were Nacional, Central Uruguay Railway Cricket Club (CURCC), which, despite its name, was known for its football section, and Boca Juniors.

Hector Scarone is a Uruguayan forward who represented his country from 1917 to 1930. This makes him the fourth-highest goal scorer for the Uruguayan football team. The talented Uruguayan only played for four teams in his domestic career, including the likes of Nacional, Barcelona, Inter, and Palermo. In fact, the Uruguayan star had a total of three stints for Nacional. He started his football career at Nacional and also ended his football career at the Uruguayan club.

3. Diego Forlan – 36 Goals

Diego Forlan is a Uruguayan striker who is regarded as one of the best of all time. He played for his country from 2002 to 2014 and made 112 appearances while scoring 36 goals.
