Throughout his career, Goran Vlaovic played for many reputable clubs, including Zagreb, Valencia, and Panathinaikos. He represented the Croatian football team from 1992 to 2002, scoring 15 goals in 51 matches at a goals-per-game ratio of 0.29.

10. Nikola Kalinic – 15 Goals

Nikola Kalinic is a Croatian forward who is one of the highest-scoring goal scorers for his country. He represented his national team between 2008 and 2018, making 42 appearances for them while scoring 15 goals, putting his goals-per-game ratio at 0.36. Kalinic has played for a plethora of clubs in his professional career, some of them being Fiorentina, AC Milan, Atletico Madrid, and AS Roma.

9. Niko Kranjcar – 16 Goals

Niko Kranjcar was a fabulous attacking midfielder who played for the Croatian football team from 2004 to 2013. He scored 16 goals for them in just 81 appearances, which puts his goals-per-game ratio at 0.20. Kranjcar also had a notable domestic career, and he played for multiple clubs, including the likes of Dinamo Zagreb, Hajduk Split, Tottenham Hotspur, Dynamo Kyiv, Queens Park Rangers, New York Cosmos, and Rangers

Ivica Olic played as a striker and winger for the Croatia football team from 2002 to 2015. He scored 20 goals for his country in 104 games at a goals-per-game ratio of 0.19. Olic spent most of his career playing in Germany, representing clubs like Hertha BSC, Hamburger SV, Bayern Munich, and VfL Wolfsburg. The star also played for clubs like Dinamo Zagreb and CSKA Moscow.

7. Darijo Srna – 22 Goals

Darijo Srna is a Croatian star who essentially played as a defender throughout his career. He played as a right wing-back for the Croatian football team but has still managed to get onto Croatia’s top scorers list. Srna represented his country from 2002 to 2016, making 134 appearances and scoring 22 goals in the process. He ended his international career with a goals-per-game ratio of 0.16. 6. Luka Modric – 27 Goals

Luka Modric is, without a doubt, the best player in Croatian football’s history, which is why it is not surprising at all to see him on this list. While Modric plays as a midfielder, you would expect a player of his calibre and longevity to have managed to get onto the top scorer’s list. Luka Modric is one of the only three players on this list who is still an active player. He started playing for the Croatian football team in 2006 and has scored 27 goals for them in 184 appearances at a goals-per-game ratio of 0.15.

5. Eduardo da Silva – 29 Goals

Eduardo da Silva was a striker who represented the Croatian football team from 2004 to 2014. Eduardo da Silva scored 29 goals in 64 appearances for Croatia, ending his international career with a goals-per-game ratio of 0.45. The Croatian striker played for a series of clubs during his domestic career, including the likes of Dinamo Zagreb, Arsenal, Shakhtar Donetsk, Flamengo, and Legia Warsaw.

Perisic currently plays for Dutch side PSV Eindhoven.

Mario Mandzukic is a Croatian striker who was regarded as one of the best attackers of his generation due to his brilliance at the top of the field. Mandzukic was a dynamic goal scorer and scored 33 goals for his country in 89 games at a goals-per-game ratio of 0.37. He did so while representing the Croatian football team between 2007 and 2018.
