Paul Pogba Hints At A Possible Return To Manchester United

Paul Pogba is a French professional footballer who is currently a free agent after his contract with Juventus was terminated on 15th November 2024 by mutual consent. He was recently banned from football after testing positive for doping but can officially return to football in March 2025. This, coupled with the fact that Pogba is now a free agent, has sparked rumours of a possible return to Old Trafford for the Frenchman. Paul Pogba Set To Return To Manchester United?

Paul Pogba has had a very rocky relationship with Manchester United, and it is one of the only two clubs that the French midfielder has represented in his entire career. He made his professional debut while playing for Manchester United in 2011. However, after it did not work out, he left to join Serie A side Juventus ahead of the 2012/13 season. He left the club on 3rd July 2012 after deciding not to sign a new contract with Manchester United, choosing to move to Serie A side Juventus instead.

It was here that Paul Pogba started gaining global acclaim and recognition thanks to his brilliant skills as a midfielder. He developed into a brilliant midfielder while at Juventus and ended up spending four seasons at the club, making a total of 178 appearances across all competitions. His performances in Serie A made Manchester United regret letting him go, and they decided to try to sign him back. While they were able to bring the French star back to Old Trafford to try out their partnership once more, it came at a very heavy price, infinitely higher than what they sold him for the first time around.

Paul Pogba did quite well during his second stint at Manchester United, but given his price tag and the potential he showed at Juventus, Manchester United fans were not entirely happy with his performances. Pogba ended up representing the Red Devils across six seasons, making a total of 226 appearances in all competitions before deciding to return to Juventus after falling out of favour at the club. Pogba thought a return to Juventus would help reignite his career, but everything has gone downhill for the French star since he left United to join Juventus with nothing going according to plan for Paul Pogba.

The French star was given an extremely big fan for being able to play football, but this sentence was reduced significantly, and Pogba will be able to return to football as early as March 2025. However, his contract with Juventus has been terminated, which means Pogba is free to join whichever club he wants to. His recent Instagram stories have sparked rumours that Pogba may be open to returning to Manchester United. He posted two stories, the first one being a picture of himself and in-form Manchester United star Amad Diallo, both in United jerseys, while the second story had the caption ‘Let’s see what’s coming’.

Only time will tell if Paul Pogba ends up returning to Manchester United or not, but the Old Trafford faithful have already started pondering what a move would look like. While some are excited to see how the talented midfielder would fare in Ruben Amorim’s 3-4-3 system, others want the club to be on the side of caution. They think that Pogba has already been tried by the club, and his transfer failed, which is why United should not make the mistake of bringing him back, even if it is for free. However, the decision in the end will come down to whether or not Amorim wants Paul Pogba and if he thinks the French star will fit his system.
