AC Milan 1-2 Inter Milan (22nd April 2024)

The Derby di Milano took place on 22nd April 2024, and things got very heated. While the game did not have too many goals and did not have late-minute drama regarding the scoreline, a massive fight broke out between the players. Inter Milan took a 2-0 lead after scoring in the 18th and 49th minute. Fikayo Tomori scored a goal for AC Milan in the 80th minute, but the drama between the players extended to injury time. Theo Hernandez and Denzel Dumfries got sent off in the 93rd minute, while Davide Calabria got sent off in the 97th minute, with the football game ending with 19 players on the pitch.

Inter Milan 4-4 Juventus (27th October 2024)

The Derby d’Italia between Inter Milan and Juventus took place on 27th October 2024. Turkiye 3-1 Georgia (18th June 2024)

The football game between Turkey and Georgia, which took place on 18th June 2024 in the UEFA Euros  2024, was an absolute masterclass. Mert Muldur opened the scoring in the 25th minute before Georges Mikautadze equalised for Georgia in the 32nd minute. The football game was 1-1 at halftime, but Arda Guler broke the deadlock in the 65th minute to give Georgia the lead. Muhammed Kerem Akturkoglu scored in the 97th minute to solidify Turkey’s lead and help them win the game by three goals to one.

Atalanta 3-0 Bayer Leverkusen (22nd May 2024)

The football match between Atalanta and Bayer Leverkusen, which took place on 22nd May 2024, did not go how everyone expected it to. Leverkusen were in unbelievable form in the 2023/24 season, and everyone expected them to come out on top and win the Europa League final against Atalanta. However, just because Leverkusen were favourites did not mean Atalanta would not try their best, and that is exactly what they did. Ademola Lookman scored the opener in the 12th minute before doubling their lead in the 26th minute. Leverkusen tried very hard to get a goal back but to no avail, and Lookman completed his hattrick in the 75th minute to help Atalanta win 3-0.

Manchester United 4-3 Liverpool (17th March 2024)

The game between Manchester United and Liverpool, which took place on 17th March 2024, is without a doubt one of the best games of the year. Scott McTominay opened the scoring in the 10th minute, but Liverpool fought back, and two goals in the 44th minute and the 45+2nd minute saw Liverpool take a 2-1 lead. It looked like United would be knocked out, but an 87-minute goal by Antony saw the game being sent for extra time. Elliott scored in the 105th minute to restore Liverpool’s lead, but once again, United fought back. Rashford scored in the 112th minute to level the score before Amad Diallo scored the winner in the 120+1st minute to give United the win.

Atletico Mineiro 1-3 Botafogo (30th November 2024)

The Conmebol Libertadores final took place on 30th November 2024. Botafogo picked up a red card in the 2nd minute of the game, and it looked like Atletico Mineiro would easily win the game. However, it was Botafogo who opened the scoring in the 35th minute. They also converted a penalty in the 44th minute to make it 2-0. Atletico Mineiro fought back, and Eduardo Vargas scored in the 47th minute to make it 1-2. While Mineiro tried their best to get a leveller, it was Botafogo’s Junior Santos who managed to score, making it 3-1 in the 97th minute and sealing the game.

The football match between Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur, which took place on 23rd November 2024, was an absolute hammering. City has struggled with exceptionally bad form this season, but no one expected them to be hauled by Tottenham. James Maddison scored the opener in the 13th minute before doubling the lead in the 20th minute. Pedro Porro scored the third goal in the 52nd minute before Brennan Johnson put the final nail to the coffin in the 93rd minute, making it 4-0 for Tottenham and completing the humiliation of Manchester City.

Chelsea 4-3 Manchester United (4th April 2024)

The football game between Chelsea and Manchester United, which took place on 4th April 2024, is the definition of late drama. Conor Gallagher opened the scoring in the 4th minute to give Chelsea the lead before Cole Palmer scored a penalty in the 19th minute to make it 2-0. United fought back through a goal by Alejandro Garnacho in the 34th minute before Bruno Fernandes scored the equaliser in the 39th minute. Garnacho scored his second goal to make it 3-2 in the 67th minute, and it looked like United had completed a brilliant comeback. However, Chelsea was not done yet, and Cole Palmer scored in the 90+10 and 90+11th minutes to make it 4-3 to Chelsea.

The football game between Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur on 22nd December 2024 saw a plethora of goals. Luis Diaz scored the opener in the 23rd minute before Mac Allister made it 2-0 in the 36th minute. James Maddison made it 2-1 in the 41st minute, but Szoboszlai made it 3-1 just before the first half ended. Salah got into the action, scoring in the 54th and 61st minute to make it 5-1. It looked like Spurs would get absolutely blown away, but Kulusevski and Solanke managed to score in the 72nd and 83rd minute to pull it back to 5-3. It looked like Spurs had gotten in control before Diaz scored to make it 6-3 in the 85th minute.
