Sachin Tendulkar had one of his best performances against Australia in a One-Day International match on 28th October 1998. India batted first, and Tendulkar became the primary batsman to take a stand for India. He hit 141 runs in 128 balls at a strike rate of 110.15 to help catapult the Indian cricket team to a score of 307. Australia were unable to chase this down and were bowled out for just 263 runs.
Another one of Sachin Tendulkar’s best One Day International performances came on 14th September 2006 against West Indies. Tendulkar opened the batting and remained not out till the end, scoring 141 runs in 148 balls at a strike rate of 95.27. He helped India put up a target of 309 on the board, but the match ended up getting shortened, and West Indies ended up winning the game by 29 runs with the help of the D/L method.

Sachin Tendulkar scored his second-highest ODI score against Australia on 22nd April 1998 at Sharjah. Australia batted first and gave the Indian cricket team a target of 285 to chase down. India did not start out too well, and Sourav Ganguly lost his wicket quite early, but Tendulkar helped stabilise the inning. However, he took 131 balls to reach 143 at a strike rate of 109.16, but it was too little, too late, as India ended up losing the game by 26 runs (revised target).
One of the highest One Day International scores in Sachin Tendulkar’s career came against Kenya on 24th October 2001. India batted first, and Sachin Tendulkar had a fantastic opening partnership with Sourav Ganguly. Tendulkar ended up scoring 146 runs in 132 balls at a strike rate of 110.60, helping India put up a target of 352 for Kenya to chase down. Kenya only managed to score 165 runs and lost the game by a huge margin of 186 runs.
Sachin Tendulkar scored one of his highest-ever ODI scores against the Zimbabwe cricket team on 8th December 2000. India batted first, and Tendulkar performed spectacularly, hitting 146 runs in 153 balls at a strike rate of 95.42. However, despite this performance, India was only able to set a target of 284 for Zimbabwe. They managed to chase this down in 49.5 overs, winning the game by one wicket with one ball to spare.

One of Sachin Tendulkar’s best One Day International performances came on 23rd February 2003 against Namibia. India batted first, and while Virendra Sehwag lost his wicket quite early, Tendulkar and Ganguly formed a fantastic partnership. Tendulkar ended up hitting 152 runs in 151 balls at a strike rate of 100.66. This helped India score 311 in the first inning. The bowlers managed to bowl Namibia out for just 130 runs, helping India win by a margin of 181 runs.

Sachin Tendulkar had a spectacular showing against New Zealand in an ODI match on 8th March 2009. India batted first, and Sachin managed to score 163 runs in 133 balls at a strike rate of 122.55 before retiring hurt. His performance helped India set a target of 393 for New Zealand to chase. This turned out to be too much for the Kiwis, and they were bowled out for 334 runs, with the Indian cricket team winning the game by 58 runs.
Sachin Tendulkar hit his highest-ever score in ODI against Australia on 5th November 2009. Australia batted first and set a score of 351 for India to chase down. India lost many early wickets, but one player remained unnerved, Sachin Tendulkar. He scored 175 runs in 141 balls at a strike rate of 124.11. He helped pull the Indian cricket team back into the game, but his valiant effort went to waste as India was bowled out for 347, losing the game by just three runs.
The second-highest score in Sachin Tendulkar’s stellar One Day International career came against New Zealand on 8th November 1999. India batted first, and after Sourav Ganguly’s early dismissal, Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid formed a formidable partnership. Tendulkar ended up scoring 186 runs in 150 balls at a strike rate of 124, all while remaining not out. He helped push India’s total to 376, but the Kiwis were unable to chase this down. They were bowled out for just 202 runs, and India won the game by a huge margin of 174 runs.

Sachin Tendulkar’s highest-ever One Day International score is the only double century he has managed to score in this format of the game. This stellar performance came against South Africa on 24th February 2010. Tendulkar hit 200 runs in 147 balls at a strike rate of 136.05 while remaining not out throughout the inning. This helped India set a target of 402 for South Africa to chase down. South Africa, however, was bowled out for just 248 runs, and India ended up winning the game by a massive margin of 153 runs.
