Murali Vijay scored one of the highest-ever individual scores in IPL history while representing the Chennai Super Kings. He did so on 3rd April 2010 against Rajasthan Royals, scoring 127 runs in 56 balls at a strike rate of 226.78. This inning included eight fours and 11 sixes and helped Chennai Super Kings reach a score of 246. Rajasthan Royals tried valiantly to chase this score down but ended up losing the game by 23 runs.
Rishabh Pant had one of the best performances against Sunrisers Hyderabad on 10th May 2018. Prithvi Shaw, Jason Roy, and Shreyas Iyer all lost their wickets early on, but Rishabh Pant stabilised the ship with a fantastic inning. He scored 128 runs in 63 balls and remained not out throughout the game. He helped Delhi Capitals put up a respectable total of 187 on the board, but Sunrisers Hyderabad ended up chasing it down in 18.5 overs, winning the game by nine wickets with seven balls remaining.
Chris Gayle is one of the only two players who appear twice on this list. He had one of the most dominating performances against Delhi Daredevils on 17th May 2012. Royal Challengers Bangalore batted first, and their opener, Chris Gaye, had a fantastic showing. He scored 128 runs in 62 balls and remained not out throughout the game, helping RCB put up a total of 215 on the board. Delhi Daredevils did a good job chasing the score but fell short, losing the game by 21 runs.

Shubman Gill added his name to the list of highest individual scores very recently in a game against Mumbai Indians on 26th May 2023. He scored 129 runs in 60 balls at a strike rate of 215. He ended his inning, having hit seven fours and 10 sixes, helping Gujarat Titans put up a score of 233 on the board. Mumbai Indians were unable to chase this score down and were bowled out in just 18.2 overs, losing the game by a huge margin of 62 runs.
AB de Villiers is the second player to appear twice on this list. His brilliant showing came on 14th May 2016 in a match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Lions. RCB batted first, and after Chris Gayle lost his wicket early, AB de Villiers stepped in and formed a fantastic partnership with Virat Kohli. The South African star scored 129 runs in 52 balls at a strike rate of 248.07, remaining not out throughout the game. This helped RCB put up a huge target of 249 for the Gujarat Lions to chase down, and they ended up winning the game by a massive margin of 144 runs.

KL Rahul scored one of the highest individual scores in IPL history on 24th September 2020 in a game between Kings XI Punjab and Royal Challengers Bangalore. KL Rahul opened the batting and put out a stellar performance, scoring 132 runs in 69 balls with a strike rate of 191.30 and remained not out throughout the inning. He helped KXIP put up a total of 206 on the board, and RCB were bowled out for just 109 runs, losing the game by 97 runs.
AB de Villiers had another performance for the history book while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore, and this one came against the Mumbai Indians. The South African star faced MI on 10th May 2015, and RCB batted first. AB de Villiers scored 133 runs in 59 balls at a strike rate of 225.42, helping his team reach a total of 235. Mumbai Indians tried their best to chase this down but only managed to score 196 runs, losing the game by 39 runs.

Quinton de Kock had one of the best IPL performances in history against Kolkata Knight Riders on 18th May 2022. Quinton de Kock and KL Rahul both remained not out throughout the inning, with de Kock scoring 140 runs in just 70 balls at a strike rate of 200. He ended up hitting 10 fours and 10 sixes to help LSG set a target of 211 for KKR to chase. KKR came very close to chasing this score but ended up losing by just two runs.
Brendon McCullum scored one of the highest-ever scores in IPL history in the very first season. He represented Kolkata Knight Riders and had a stellar performance against the Royal Challengers Bangalore on 18th April 2008. He opened the batting and scored 158 runs in 73 balls at a strike rate of 216.43 while remaining not out. He helped KKR put up a target of 223 for RCB to chase down. RCB were bowled out for just 82 runs, and they lost the game by a whopping margin of 140 runs.

Chris Gayle scored the highest individual score in Indian Premier League history against Pune Warriors India on 23rd April 2013. RCB batted first, and Chris Gayle came out swinging. He managed to hit 175 runs in 66 balls at a strike rate of 265.15 while remaining not out. This helped RCB put up a score of 263 runs on the board. Pune Warriors India only managed to hit 133 runs, losing the game by a huge margin of 130 runs.
