Anshul Kamboj picked up all 10 wickets against the Kerala Cricket Team while representing Haryana in the Ranji Trophy. This feat was completed on 15th November 2024, on the third day of the Test match. While the game is already into the third day, and Haryana will most likely have to settle for a draw, this feat achieved by Anshul Kamboj will end up being the highlight of this game and quite possibly even this tournament.
Kamboj’s professional debut came on 4th February 2020, when he represented Delhi in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. His performances have only improved since then, with his breakout season coming when he got the opportunity to shine for Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League last season. While the player has not been retained by MI, they may end up using their Right To Match (RTM) card to bring Kamboj back to the Wankhede stadium.

D. Nidheesh, and Basil Thampi. The last man standing and the only player who did not lose his wicket to Kamboj was Nedumankuzhy Basil. Irrespective of whether Mumbai Indians choose to buy him back or not, this performance will surely help skyrocket his price in the IPL Mega Auction. The player already proved his worth last season, holding his own for the Mumbai Indians, and now he is proving to the world that it was not a one-off performance and that he can deliver consistently. Many teams will be interested in picking up this young Indian pacer, who may end up forming the core of the franchise for many years to come.
