Barcelona, a team that seemed to be struggling last season, has turned a new leaf and is thriving under the tutelage of German manager Hansi Flick. Inheriting Ronald Koeman’s managerial position, Xavi was initially heralded as the man who would restore Barcelona’s glorious identity and playing philosophy. Aside from tactical adjustments, perhaps the most significant change Flick brought was mental resilience.
