ICC Announces Changes to 2023 Cricket World Cup Schedule, India vs Pakistan Match Moved to October 14: The ICC has recently released a new schedule for the World Cup 2023, moving the much-awaited India vs Pakistan game to the 14th October from its initial date of 15th October. It is worth noting that the venue for the event remains the same, with the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad still set to host the match.

Following a meeting with ten staging associations in Delhi, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah disclosed that a few ICC member boards participating in the World Cup had requested certain modifications to the schedule. Shah explicitly denied that India’s highly anticipated match against Pakistan was being rescheduled due to security concerns.
