Born 6 December 1997, Suyash Prabhudessai kickstarted his cricket career by featuring for Goa in domestic matches. He made his domestic cricket debut for the Goan cricket team in 2016 before making his List A debut for the state during the 2016–17 Vijay Hazare Trophy.
The all rounder later went on to make his first-class cricket debut on at Rohtak during the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy season. His first taste of Twenty20 format came during his first match of the 2018–19 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy season when he played for Goa against Sikkim at Indore.
He went has gone one to establish himself as a key player to the cricket team of Goa and become a vital cog in their domestic team, regularly featuring in Ranji Trophy, Vijay Hazare Trophy, as well as the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. The young all-rounder has also played in several matches of Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League. Suyash has scored 1,158 runs while taking 8 wickets, 19 First-class matches while amassing 787 runs and 4 wickets 34 List A cricket. Suyash Prabhudessai T20 stats reveal how he has played 23 T20 matches, scoring 477 runs and taking 2 wickets ahead of IPL 2023.

After becoming one of the main players for Goa, Suyash Prabhudessai got a chance to feature in the Indian Premier League. The middle order star for roped for 20 Lakh in by Royal Challengers Bangalore during the Indian Premier League auction ahead of the IPL 2021 season.
Despite signing for the team in the 2021 edition of the IPL, the young cricketer did not get any opportunity to play that year. However, he was bought by RCB during the IPL 2022 auction for 30 Lakh and Suyash Prabhudessai made his IPL debut in 2022 for Royal Challengers Bangalore.
The Goan star announced his arrival at the stage by smashing 34 runs off 18 balls against Chennai Super Kings. His power hitting and saw his play 5 matches in IPL 2022 before the upcoming season.
Playing for RCB in IPL 2023, Suyash Prabhudessai is expected to be one of the main players in Bangalore’s middle order. Many expect him to be a match winner citing his all-rounder skills and ability to to swing the match single handedly.
While Suyash Prabhudessai has fared decently in IPL 2023, a lot of pressure stands on his shoulders, especially with Rajat Patidar missing from the team. With a lot of competition in the star studded RCB squad, it remains interesting to see if Suyash Prabhudessai can live up to his potential.
