The Indian Premier League (IPL) has become the most highly anticipated franchised-based cricket tournament since its inception in 2008. Starting off with eight teams, the IPL now consists of ten sides representing different cities in India. With 15 editions already played so far, IPL 2023 will be the 16th season of the tournament.
