The national team’s selection committee has announced the Men in Blue squad for the upcoming India vs Bangladesh matches. Kuldeep Sen gets a chance to be a part of the team as Yash Dayal misses out due to a lower back issue. Ravindra Jadeja continues to be sidelined, as he is still recovering from his knee injury, which ruled him out of the Asia Cup 2022 as well as the ICC T20 World Cup. All-rounder Shahbaz Ahmed has been named as his replacement in the team.
The Indian cricket team is scheduled to play three ODI matches against Bangladesh, with the One-Day games starting on 4th December. The India vs Bangladesh ODIs will be played in Dhaka, with the two Test matches set to begin on 14th December. These test matches will see India’s all-format captain Rohit Sharma return to the team alongside Virat Kohli and vice-captain KL Rahul. The trio was rested for the ongoing tour to New Zealand.

Ahead of the ODI matches, the India A team has been scheduled to play two four-day games against Bangladesh. Abhimanyu Easwaran has been handed the opportunity to captain the squad for the both the games, which begin on 29th November. Veteran members in Umesh Yadav and Cheteshwar Pujara have been included in the squad for the second un official game as well.
