It would be good if CSK picks him again in the IPL 2023 mini auctions, but looking at his age and recent form, he has a high chance of getting unsold in the mini auctions. The 37-year-old right-handed batter was one of the best middle-order batsmen, but if players like Suresh Raina (MR IPL) went unnoticed by the franchise, then I really don’t have a good feeling about Ambati Rayudu.

The right-handed batter is on the list because of his inconsistency. IPL 2018 was a career-destroying phase for Manish Pandey, as his performance was not up to the mark. After that, Sunrisers Hyderabad backed him in 2018 and signed Manish Pandey, but he still struggled, and in the end, SRH released him. Pandey will come under the hammer on 23rd December 2022, and it is expected that he may go unsold in the IPL 2023 auction.
