SA20 T20 League Dates Revealed; Check Out

The SA20 is all set to kickstart in less than 100 days with Cricket South Africa’s highly anticipated T20 League set to begin on 10th January next year. The inaugural edition of the tournament is set to begin soon and will comprise 33 matches, with each team set to play each other twice – on a home-and-away basis -. Following the group stages of the competition, the top 4 teams will qualify to feature in the two semi-finals which will be followed by the final.

The six teams in SA20 namely Durban Super Giants, Sunrisers Eastern Cape, MI Cape Town, Paarl Royals, Johannesburg Super Kings, and Pretoria Capitals are owned by groups that have teams in the IPL. Every team consists of a 17-member squad with a limit of maximum of seven internationals with all the SA20 teams filling up their squads during the player auction which ended on 19th September.
