How Far Can Babar Azam Go In International Cricket: When it comes to white ball cricket, no one in the world can match Babar Azam’s skill. Azam is indeed Pakistan’s one of the finest production, and he is proving his worth every time. If a player like Babar Azam plays for India under BCCI, he would have easily replaced Virat Kohli in the coming years, but under PCB… I hope you are understanding!

PCB used to be one of the best cricketing boards back then, the board had introduced world-class bowlers to the world, but looking at the current PCB situation, it’s hard to say how far Azam can go. Under Sarfaraz Ahmed, Pakistan won its first Champions Trophy after defeating India in 2017. Sarfaraz was indeed a good player. I agree that his performance was not up to the mark, but it’s okay. He should have been given more opportunities, as he had a bad patch! Who knew under Sarfaraz’s leadership Pakistan would have won more ICC trophies?
You may have heard several Pakistani players criticizing the board very often. Players like Mohammad Aamir, Shoaib Akhtar, and Misbah ul Haq openly confronted the world media and displayed their thoughts regarding PCB. In my opinion, the board doesn’t know to back its players. In my opinion, Babar Azam, until his last breath, needs to be in the same form to represent Pakistan. PCB may not back him in his bad patch.
Not only this, but you may have also heard about PCBs behavior with Shaheen Afridi; according to Shahid Afridi, Shaheen Afridi went to England on his own. “He bought his ticket and spent his own money to stay in a hotel. I arranged a doctor for him, and then he contacted the doctor. PCB is not doing anything, and he was doing that alone.”
While speaking at length about this issue on Samaa TV, Shahid Afridi said, “When I talk about Shaheen.. that guy went to England on his own. He bought his own ticket, he spent his own money to stay in a hotel. I arranged a doctor for him, then he contacted the doctor. PCB is not doing anything, he was doing that on his own.”
