Ravindra Jadeja Is The New Chennai Super Kings Captain

As per the official announcement by Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on their Twitter handle, MS Dhoni has stepped down as the captain of the CSK team. According to the official statement, Ravindra Jadeja is appointment as the new captain for the franchise. This is indeed a heart break for every cricketing fans out there and a welcome move for some.

Dhoni is one the best captains in the world and has proved to be most successful player in the Indian Premier League. After winning the earlier editions of IPL, there were rumours that MSD will retire soon from IPL as well.

Jadeja, who has been an integral part of Chennai Super Kings since 2012, will only be the third player to lead CSK. Dhoni may continue to represent CSK in the current season.
