Being one of the biggest award shows for gamers, winning or even being nominated for the Esports Awards is something many look forward to. Featuring talent from across the world, the award show is known for highlighting top performing gamers in the esports scene. Fans are given a chance to nominate their favourite esports players who they believe have done a phenomenal job in the past year.
The Indian streamer, Naman ‘Mortal’ Mathur has been nominated for the Streamer of The Year Award at the Esports Awards 2021. However, this is not the first time that Mathur has been nominated. He was previously nominated in two separate categories: ‘Esports Mobile Player of the Year’ and ‘Streamer of the Year.’
Mathur is a professional PUBG Mobile player and one of the country’s biggest streamers. Thanks to his supporting fan-base, he made it to the final list of nominees for the prestigious award. In the 2020 Esports Awards, Mathur came in second for the category of ‘Streamer of the Year.’ It looks like this year, his fans are determined to get him the title.
The voting process for the award is transparent and is open to the masses. Fans can vote by submitting a form and the streamer who receives the highest submissions will be given the award. The Esports Awards is an excellent way to honour and celebrate some of the biggest contributors to the esports and gaming industry. Previously, the Esports Awards have been won by gamers like Nadeshot, Bugha, Dr Disrespect and more.
