Big Update:

Sumit Lalchandani ships the DPT April 2022 Main Event. Sandip Gupta is the first runner-up and FTS 3.0 champion Ankit Wadhawan is the second runner-up.

Alok Birewar finishes in 9th Position for ₹3,58,100

Level 29 (Blinds 40K-80K & Ante 80K)

Alok Birewar shoves all-in pre-flop for 380,000 from the small blind position and Kshitij Kucheria from calls from the big blind.

Alok: Q♣️ 3♣️

Kshitij: J♠️ 7♦️

Board: Q♥️ 5♦️ 10♠️ 8♦️ 9♥️

While Birewar flopped a queen pair, Kucheria hit a straight on the river to win the pot. Birewar departed at the 10th spot for ₹3,58,100.

Sameer Agarwal finishes in 10th position for ₹2,63,400

Level 29 (Blinds 40K-80K & Ante 80K)

Sandip Gupta opens from UTG with 160,000. Sameer Agarwal shoves all-in for 710,000 from the button, putting his tournament life at risk. Gupta makes the call. Showdown begins:

Sandip: A♣️ K♦️

Board: 9♠️ 8♠️ 7♣️ 5♦️ 7♥️

Gupta wins the pot and eliminates Agarwal in 10th place for ₹2,63,400.

Nikita Luther Doubles-up

Level 28 (Blinds 30K-60K & Ante 60K)

Nikita Luther opens with 125,000 from the button. Aditya Singh from the small blind re-raises it to 380,000 and Luther calls.

Flop: A♥️ Q♠️ 2♥️

Singh bets another 200,000 and Luther calls again.

Turn: J♦️

Singh bets 500,000 and Luther goes all-in for 1,900,000. Aditya tanks and then calls.

Nikita: K♦️ 10♠️

Aditya: A♠️ Q♦️

River: 7♥️

Singh got two pairs but Luther hit a straight and doubled-up. This left Singh with the shortest stack on the table.

Mohit Bohra Doubles Up Through Nikita Luther

Level 28 (Blinds 30K-60K & Ante 60K)

Mohit Bohra opens with 120,000 and chip leader Nikita Luther from big blind goes all-in pre flop. After a little deliberation, Bohra calls.

Mohit: J♥️ J♣️

Board: 10♦️ K♠️ Q♦️ 3♠️ J♦️

While Luther gets two pairs, Bohra hits a set of jacks (JJJ) on the river and doubles up.

Welcome to the Deltin Poker Tournament (DPT) April 2022 Main Event (ME) live updates. Gutshot will be covering the live updates from the highly-anticipated ME. This event has some established grinders on the final table (FT) which only means that the FT will be an intense one. With 600+ entries being logged in at the Main Event, we’re down to the final 10 and you can read all updates before this here.

Deltin Poker Tournament

This poker event is quite popular among the grinders. DPT was launched in the year 2016 when the well-known Goa casino Deltin Royale and Adda52 tied up. The maiden edition was hosted from 21st – 26th January 2016. This edition of DPT offered a massive prize pool of ₹1 Crore for the ME. The prize pools have only scaled up at this poker tournament series. DPT returned in a bolder avatar after nearly two years. The COVID-19 pandemic put live poker on a hold and players were utterly delighted when live poker resumed in all its glory.

DPT May 2022 Main Event

DPT May 2022 edition gave poker fanatics the much needed adrenaline rush. And the Main Event which is the crown jewel of the series offers the first place finisher a colossal figure of ₹35,60,350 in prize money. The ME had 212 survivors and the final table was set with Spartan Poker Pro and WSOP bracelet winner Nikita Luther leading the pack with 32,40,000 chips at her disposal to battle it out for the top prize.
