Deepak Aggarwal Leading The Top Six At WPT Prime India 2023 High Roller


The organisers and players at the World Poker Tour (WPT) Prime India 2023 High Roller have decided to pause the final table and resume it tomorrow. The event which was supposed to be a two-day event will now have a third day to crown the champion, thanks to the overwhelming number of entries.

WPT India High Roller To Have A Day 3

The final table was set at around 12 AM. According to the Tournament Director’s decision, the FT would continue to play till 2 PM. The event witnessed three bustouts on the FT during this time. At around 2 PM, the table still had six players battling it out. The players spoke for a while to decide if they would return to play tomorrow or continue to play till the winner. Although a majority of the players wanted to continue playing, a few of the players did not agree and hence it was unanimously decided by the players and the TD that a Day 3 would be held. The players will return for the final battle at 4 PM tomorrow.

Deepak Aggarwal Leading The Top Six

Deepak Aggarwal is currently leading the remaining six players with the heaviest stack. The remaining players on the table are Gagandeep Malik, Roshan Bharadwaj, Ashish Munot, Ritesh Khatwani, and Guneet Kwatra. Check out their chip counts:

The High Roller event saw a massive entry field of 227 entries generating a final prize pool of ₹2,63,66,050. The top 29 players took home a min-cash of ₹2,50,000 from this event.
