Ahead of the highly awaited WSOP 2023, Daniel Negreanu has gone on to make a bold statement on his performances. 

Poker legend Daniel Negreanu sat down with Remko Rinkema and shared his thoughts on WSOP 2023. The six-time WSOP bracelet winner shared a strong opinion when he was speaking about expectations from the highly anticipated poker tournament. 

Straight off the bat, the poker pro was asked if his Las Vegas WSOP drought run was ending this year. Answering with a broad smile on his face, DNegs goes on to explain how he had a weird run over the last 10 years. However, he is confident that a good year is just around the corner. Wishing 2023 is the year that brings him a lot of success, Daniel Negreanu expresses how he will look to win three-four bracelets this year at WSOP 2023.

Claiming that he is streaky in a certain sense, the Canadian poker pro says that if he manages to win a bracelet early; then other people need to vary him as he can string together a few back-to-back bracelets in WSOP 2023. He ends the topic by stating how he has good vibes this year and is hoping to have a good run in WSOP 2023. 

The 48-year-old also added how his strategy would mostly remain the same, just like the previous years. However, he is all set to carry resistance bands and continue working out in order to stay healthy for the long grinds. Daniel Negreanu also spoke about the events he is excited to participate in at WSOP 2023 while explaining his thought process on omitting certain levels at low buy-in events.
