When PokerDangal started hosting its Dangal Value Series (DVS), players on the platform were thrilled to be a part of this event. As always, the brand did not disappoint with the advertised prize pool being a rock solid sum of ₹35 Lakh. DVS started on 11 May and PokerDangal kick started the poker fiesta with a DVS freeroll that had a 30K GTD.
The series hosted a total of 15 tournaments and two freerolls. This was an opportune time for players to put their skills to the test and build their bankrolls. The series ended on 16 May with another 30K GTD freeroll. Here’s the full report on the biggest winners of the series.
The Main Event is always a big thing when it comes to series like this on any poker platform. PokerDangal’s DVS Main Event had a ₹20 Lakh GTD and a total of 760 entries across five flights. The buy-in for the event was ₹2,200. Players who reached the top 90 places were paid a min-cash of ₹6,000. It was Divik Arora aka ‘stackattack555’ who ultimately emerged victorious and took home a pay cheque of ₹3,25,000 Lakh.
To encourage players to put their best foot forward, PokerDangal also introduced a DVS leaderboard worth ₹3 Lakh that players can win from. Top 100 best performing players on the leaderboard will receive a minimum amount of ₹1,779 while the one who tops the leaderboard will receive a prize money of ₹75,000.
This numero uno spot on the leaderboard was clinched by player Jasvir Singh aka ‘GPDK’ who scored a total of 1926 VIP points. Out of the 15 tournaments, Singh played 13 of them and cashed at eight of the tourneys. During his run, Singh also managed to ship two of the tournaments.
The first freeroll held on 11 May was won by player Dileep Kevat aka ‘Dileep34’ who took home ₹4,950 in prize money. Trust PokerDangal to make the experience a memorable one for its players with another freeroll to bring the series to a close. The second DVS freeroll was held on 16 May and it was Arun Paul aka ‘arunQQQQ’ who cashed ₹4,950.
