Known as the ‘King of Instagram’ and followed by millions across social media platforms, Dan Bilzerian had always been in the news. Sometimes it’s for the good he’s done, sometimes not so much. Today, we’re here to report another development in the life of the big man, as he’s been roped in as brand ambassador for one of the fastest growing poker platforms in the world.
We all know Blitz is big on poker and he’s in fact earned a massive part of his fortune through this skill game. Given his love for poker and of course his humongous following across the world, leading poker platform GGPoker recently announced their decision to sign him up as their brand ambassador.
GGPoker is growing leaps and bounds every day. Much like Bilzerian himself, there’s not a single day when they aren’t in the news. Just a couple of days back, we spoke about the latest feature being added to their gaming client, that of final table betting. This adds to plenty of innovative features they pioneered like the snapcam featured, staking, 3D emojis and much more.
In fact, they’ve been growing their list of brand ambassadors at lightning pace as well. Dan will be joining the likes of Daniel Negreanu, Felipe Ramos, ElkY and Fedor Holz as GGPoker brand ambassadors, with Fedor being brought on in May this year and Kid Poker being signed by them in November last year. Another mainstream celeb to join their ranks recently was tennis legend Boris Becker!
“Dan joining Team GGPoker is a huge win. No one in poker has a bigger reach. He has won millions in cash games and isn’t afraid to get into the mix against the sharks in the high-stakes streets at GGPoker,” said GGPoker brand ambassador Daniel Negreanu via a press release, another high profile poker name himself.
The timing of the announcement is perfect, just a few days before Dan Bilzerian completes 40 years of age! The social media influencer turns 40 years old on 7th December 2020 and to celebrate, GGPoker also went on to announce a $100,000 freeroll which involves not just free money to players on GGPoker but there’s actually a lot more at stake.
It’s a progressive knockout for depositors using a special promotional code and there will be special bounties on Bilzerian’s head as well as those of other GGPoker sponsored pros. Moreover, there will be special bounties on the heads of some special guests that Bilzerian will be inviting to the game, a list that still isn’t confirmed though.
If that’s not enough, there’s another massive incentive for knocking Bilzerian out of the freeroll tournament. The person to do so will win an all-expenses paid trip to Las Vegas in the summer of 2021 to party with the King of Instagram himself. So if you weren’t convinced whether you should get yourself a GGPoker account before this, I think you may now be.

“In these crazy times, GGPoker is the best option to get my poker on—they cater to the recreational players and that’s the future of poker, not a bunch of math nerds. I’ve battled guys from the $2 buy-in to the $200,000 buy-in tables at GGPoker, and will be working with GG to make cash game tables even better for the average player out there,” said Dan Bilzerian via a press release.
