Chhikara Uses Call Time To Fold?
Table 7 witnessed some drama when Himanshu Chhikara bet 22,000 preflop and was called by Abhinav Iyer and another player on the table. The flop showed T ♠ 4 ❤ T ❤ , and Chhikara bet 51,000, leading to Iyer calling and the other player folding. On the turn of 8 ♠, Chhikara again bet 93,000 and was called by Iyer. The river showed 6 ♣, and this time Iyer bet 307,000. Chhikara failed to take action in the stipulated time and hence, the Tournament Director, Dexter Mercado had to intervene. Chhikara was granted a 2 minute call time, however, Chhikara folded just 5 seconds before the call time ended. Iyer won a considerable pot in the process. Flush draw, Chhikara?
