The Nevada Gaming Control Board announced last week that all COVID-19 restrictions will be lifted on 1 June. No face masks or plexiglass dividers at tables anymore. At present, face masks are not required in most casinos including the Wynn Resorts, MGM Resorts, Encore Casino, and Caesars Entertainment.
The state county Clarke has eased all pandemic restrictions. Restaurants in Las Vegas will be reopening, which will boost the local economy. On May 20, Caesars Palace brought back its award-winning Bacchanal Buffet for visitors. Just like Caesars, MGM Grand Buffet will also be reopening on 26 May.
Just a few days ago Wynn casinos and Encore removed plexiglass dividers from poker tables. The Center for Disease Control had also earlier announced that vaccinated individuals in Las Vegas were no longer required to wear a mask or maintain social distance.
As per the update from Wynn casinos, it will open its doors for the public today and the resort also plans to add a new poker room to Las Vegas. Concerts are also returning to Las Vegas, as in the past weekend, the Fremont Street district hosted a concert with over 10,000 people in attendance.
For June and July, pop sensation Bruno Mars has been booked to perform at Park MGM’s Park Theatre. Justin Bieber will also be at MGM Grand on 5 June along with several other celebrities.
Other than casinos and concerts, the iconic Las Vegas shows will also return including Absinthe at Caesars Palace, Australia’s Thunder From Down Under at ExcaliburFantasy at Luxor, Jabbawockeez at MGM Grand, Penn & Teller at the Rio, Carrot Top at Luxor, David Copperfield at MGM Grand and Terry Fator at New York.
