Brazilian footballer Arthur Melo Signed On As Brand Ambassador of 1st11
Brazilian footballer Arthur Melo has been brought on board as the brand ambassador of 1st11. The brand is a UK-based gaming and esports entertainment brand. Melo currently plays for the Juventus Football Club in Italy.
The financial details of the deal with Melo have not been disclosed yet. Melo joins the company as the brand ambassador as the firm wishes to focus more on the Latin American market. 1st11 was one of the investors in the USD 1.58 Million funding round for Final Level and is working with the platform for its international expansion.
Talking about the collaboration, Melo said, “I love the vision and the unique approach of 1st11. This eventually helps in enhancing the fan experience and brings together sports stars and gaming creators into interactive formats. 1st11 pushes gaming entertainment to the next level, which lets the real and virtual worlds collide in unexpected ways.”

The gaming industry has exploded with over 2.7 Billion gamers globally. According to statistics by Forbes, the video game industry is expected to reach over USD 300 Billion by 2025.
Christopher Glancy, the head of product at 1st11 explains, “The growth in the esports and gaming sector has become a global phenomenon. This industry has been attracting athletes who have the passion to engage with millions of audiences.”
He further added, “Arthur Melo is a culturally relevant icon, and signing a person like him who has more than 5 Million followers on Instagram is very exciting. I look forward to working with him and the team to deliver a world-class product for fans.” The company which has offices in London, São Paulo, Rio De Janeiro, and Buenos Aires will soon launch its application on Google Play and App store. The brand also plans to launch 1st11 creators, a custom-built talent management platform.
