BiG Africa Summit 2022 To Take Place In February

Preparations for the 8th Annual BiG (Betting & iGaming) Africa Summit are well underway. Eventus International received interest from across the globe to participate in this highly anticipated 8^th edition. After the long absence of gaming events in Africa, the time has come to reconnect and nurture new relationships within the Africa gaming market. Due to the changes of travel restrictions after the December holidays, the Eventus International team wants to ensure that BiG Africa Summit 2022 will be well attended, and therefore decided to move the event to 8 – 9 February 2022, allowing more time for countries to lower their restrictions for travel to South Africa.

International flights to and from South Africa, as well as domestic flights within the Republic, are permitted in terms of regulation 42 (https://www.gov.za/covid-19/individuals-and-households/travel-coronavirus-covid-19). “Though travel is allowed to and from South Africa, we want to ensure international attendance. By adjusting the event dates to February 2022, lowering of restrictions in other countries will become more possible within a month’s time, which will allow for larger international traffic to participate at the event”, said Yudi Soetjiptadi, Managing Director at Eventus International.

BiG Africa Summit taking place at Emperors Palace in Johannesburg, South Africa, seeks to involve all African gaming stakeholders in providing an impressive exhibition floor, networking opportunities as well as the exchange of knowledge during conferences sessions.
