One of India’s leading gaming platforms, Baazi Games recently launched India’s first-ever nationwide fantasy cricket championship named ‘National Fantasy Cricket Championship’ (NFCC).
Baazi Games is one of India’s fastest growing online gaming companies with over 10 million registered users. The company runs immensely popular verticals such as BalleBaazi.com, RummyBaazi.com and PokerBaazi.com under its banner.
The National Fantasy Cricket Championship (NFCC) encourages cricket lovers to enjoy their favourite game by not only watching and cheering for Team India, but also participating and playing fantasy cricket to win exciting prizes. The tournament, which features the tagline – ‘Har cricket fan ban sakta hai national champion’ (every cricket fan can become a national champion), will allow all cricket fans to be the true champions this World Cup season.
The first of its kind fantasy cricket championship will take place during the upcoming T20 World Cup. The event aims at showcasing the skills of the Indian cricketing fans as they cheer and root for Team India during the world cup season.
The 2021 edition of the T20 World Cup will take place between 17th October 2021 to 14th November, 2021. The international men’s cricket tournament which is organised by the International Cricket Council (ICC), was earlier slated to be held between October 18 to November 15, 2020. However, due to the COVID-19 restrictions, the event was postponed and was rescheduled to be held in 2021. The matches will be hosted by India and will be played in the middle-eastern countries of UAE and Oman.
Baazi Games has not yet announced the dates, schedule or format of the championship, however, it will kick-start this month, i.e., in October 2021. It will be interesting to see a nationwide massive event like this in fantasy cricket.
