Austrian Brands Unite: Wave Esports Partners With Red Bull

Wave Esports, an Austrian esports brand has partnered with Red Bull to boost its Valorant team. The brand has promised that Red Bull’s infrastructure will help the team of Wave Esports to expand into new games in the future. As per the press release, Wave Esports will utilize Red Bull’s infrastructure for the assistance required to develop the organization’s Valorant roster.

Ivaelo Bozhilov, chief of finance and head of partnerships at Wave Esports said, “From the very beginning, we had a goal to work with Red Bull. This is a great accomplishment for us as our company has not yet turned a year old too. We are extremely elated that Red Bull believes in us.”

He further added, “Looking back at 2020 and what we managed to achieve in the competitive scene and it directly translating into a commercial success in 2021 clearly reveals that we’re on the right path. We look forward to establishing a long-lasting partnership with Red Bull as we wish to work closely through the year”

Wave Esports was founded in 2019 and it has quickly established itself as a prominent organization. In Germany and Europe, the highest-ranked Fortnite and Valorant rosters are that of Wave Esports. 

The team of Wave Esports plays Fortnite, Valorant, and Brawl Stars. In the month of January, the brand had partnered with Swiss-American computer technology brand Logitech. Throughout 2021, Logitech will be helping Wave Esports to conduct boot camps for players and will assist in content creation as well.  

Red Bull is also a brand based in Austria and it sponsors and supports athletes across a range of sports. The brand owns football clubs such as Red Bull Salzburg, RB Leipzig, and a Formula One team as well. This partnership saw Red Bull add yet another esports organization cum team to its brand as it already had teams like FURIA and T1 in its kitty.
