Arsh Grover Ships Stairway To Millions Event #3


Indian pro player Arsh Grover, who is currently in the Mecca of Poker, Las Vegas, is making the country proud by shipping some international events. He recently shipped the ongoing Stairway to Millions Event #3: $900 No-Limit Hold’em for $12,510.

The Stairway To Millions series is currency taking place at The Venetian Resort in Las Vegas. The India Poker Championship (IPC) Megastacks May 2022 100K Highroller runner-up had earlier finished third for $2,677 at Event #2: $460 NL Hold’em. At Event #3, Grover outperformed an entry field of 82 entries to claim the title. In the heads-up, he defeated Wu Zhou, who claimed his second runner-up finish of the series. Zhou had earlier finished second at Event #1 where he cashed $4,255. His runner-up finish at Event #3 fetched him another $7,898. 

Apart from the $12,510 top prize, the Indian pro also bagged a $2,740 ticket to compete in Event #7 of the Stairway To Millions, along with a shiny trophy. The Stairway To Millions series  events follow a unique structure where all players who make in the money of Event #3 bagged a $1,640 ticket to either Event #5 or Event #6. All the top three finishers, i.e., Grover, Zhou, and Roland Israelashvili received $2,740 tickets to Event #7.

Grover has been enjoying a good run at several events in Las Vegas. Last month he shipped the $335 + 65 No Limit Hold’em – MonsterStack (Event #42) and $250 + 50 No Limit Hold’em – Survivor (Event #45) of the Venetian Deepstack Showdown series for $5,314 and $2,500 respectively. He also finished third at the DeepStack Extravaganza III Event #3: $400 No Limit Hold’em for $17,989.
