Online poker platforms were bursting with activity as the players flocked to play some of the high value tournaments on Sunday night. Brands like Spartan Poker, PokerStars, PokerBaazi, Adda52 among others hosted some of the biggest events. The night saw winners in Ishita Arora, Ram Kakkar, Arjanveer Singh Chadha and others. The Armageddon on Spartan Poker drew in a total of 295 entries consisting of 147 unique players, 35 re-entries, and 113 re-buys. The ₹5,500 buy-in event ended with the top 27 places paid. The min-cash was ₹15,000. The event was shipped by BLITZPOKER player ‘KeepAtItBro’ who walked away with ₹2,88,182 in prize money. Nihkil Jain aka ‘OnedOtOne’ was the runner-up for ₹2,68,317.
Sunday Superstack on Spartan Poker welcomed 148 unique players, 69 re-entries, and 105 re-buys. The ₹25 Lakh guarantee was crushed and the final prize pool was ₹32,20,000. The ₹11,000 buy-in ended with 31 places paid and the min-cash was ₹28,336. It was player ‘$hitreg’ who shipped the event and walked away with ₹6,81,030. The runner-up was ‘Shinu22’ who went home with ₹4,58,528.
Sun Poker Nite #1 event drew in 913 runners to Spartan Poker. Out of this, 517 were unique players, 168 were re-entries, and 228 were re-buys. The buy-in of the event was ₹1,100 and the top 95 places were paid. The min-cash was ₹2,950. PokerHigh player ‘KINGH01’ grabbed the title for a payday of ₹1,71,154. Rathod Jatin aka ‘PokerJokerJR’ was the runner-up and went home with ₹1,37,445 in his pockets.
Arjanveer Singh Chadha aka ‘arjan30’ shipped the Adda52 Big Game for a massive paycheck of ₹13,96,658. He defeated player ‘doublesuited’ who finished in the runner-up position for ₹11,06,332. The event attracted 268 entries (162 unique players, 99 re-entries). The ₹27,500 buy-in event’s guarantee was crushed and the final prize pool was ₹65,25,006. The top 27 places were paid and the min-cash was ₹58,725.
Sunday Showdown on Adda52 had 413 entries from which 251 were registered players, and 180 were re-entries. The ₹2,500 buy-in event and the top 44 players were paid. The min-cash was ₹7,549. Player ‘Cin11’ shipped the tournament and added ₹1,91,170 to their bankroll. Sandeep Dagar aka ‘MrJo’ was the runner-up and he walked away with ₹1,40,998.
BSS SuperStack on PokerBaazi drew in 576 entries made up of 273 unique players and 303 re-entries. The event crushed its ₹20 Lakh guarantee and the final prize pool was ₹28,80,000. The ₹5,500 buy-in event ended with the top 72 places paid. The min-cash was ₹8,930. Vikas Yadav aka ‘nohomejerome’ shipped the event for ₹5,44,000. Player Nitin Rawat aka ‘Gambler42’ was the runner-up for ₹3,82,000.
Sunday Special on PokerStars had a ₹15 Lakh guarantee and buy-in worth ₹5,500. The event welcomed 243 entries from which 145 were unique players and 98 were re-entries. The top 27 places were paid and the min-cash was ₹9,516. Ram Kakkar aka ‘TheLagLawyer’ shipped the event and took home ₹1,26,890 in bounty prize and ₹1,51,600 from the regular prize pool. The runner-up was Vishnu Khandelwal aka ‘violator2018’ who scored ₹42,207 in bounty prize and ₹1,51,600 from the regular prize pool.
The Sunday Highroller was shipped by women poker player Ishita Arora aka ‘Warriori08’ who had a payday of ₹2,13,948. The runner-up was Mahesh S aka ‘masteroffelts’ who had ₹2,19,511 in prize money. There were a total of 77 entries made up of 51 unique players and 26 re-entries. The ₹11,000 buy-in tournament ended with the top 9 places paid and a min-cash of ₹34,809 was given.
