Deepak Bothra

Deepak Bothra finds himself in the prime position, leading the lot with a stack of 3,715,000 chips. Bothra made it to Day 2 of the event via the Day 1B starting flight and progressed onto Day 3 with a stack of 653,000. He quickly worked his way up to the top and is a favourite to ship the title. Bothra has been playing live poker for a long time. He took home the Deltin Poker Tournament No Limit Hold’em – Tag Team title in April 2017. He also finished 20th at the India Poker Championship Megastacks Main Event in May 2022.

Accompanying Bothra in the race for the APT Championship title are Indian poker pros Shardul Parthasarathi and Spartan Poker Pro Zarvan Tumboli. Both these players have had an incredible run at Vietnam. Parthasarathi shipped the APT Hanoi Loyal 2022 Main Event title, and Tumboli won the World Poker Tour (WPT) Prime Vietnam 2022 Main Event title in May 2022.
