APT Ho Chi Minh 2022: Amit Kaushik Finishes Second On Player Of The Series!


The Asian Poker Tour (APT) Ho Chi Minh 2022 has finally come to a spectacular close with the final standings of the Player of the Series revealed. The series was held in the Saigon Poker Club and ended on 17th August. The last day saw the final four events of the series concluded. While Indian poker pro Amit Kaushik was leading the Player of the Series leaderboard on the final day, in the end, it was Phan Huu Minh Tri who topped it.

Kaushik finished in second place on the leaderboard with 936.30 points. The Indian pro has had a fantastic run on the APT series and had his best cash of the series when he finished in third place at the APT Main Event. The Main Event ended in a three-way flip which saw Kaushik pocket a lovely VND 1,691,700,000 (~₹57,56,823). He has also won an APT title in the APT Summer Festival Hanoi 2022 when he shipped the Deep Stack Super Turbo event.

The leaderboard topper Phan Huu Minh Tri finished on the top with 1,188.76 points after he shipped the Monster Stack event for VND 491,360,000. This was Phan’s second title on the series after he shipped Event #1. His second win shot him to the top spot in the leaderboard and knocked out Amit Kaushik in second place. As the Player of the Series winner, Phan was awarded $800, a POS trophy and ring along with a limited edition watch. Kaushik and APT Main Event winner Tran Tuan Anh stood in second and third place, respectively. They walked away with a runner-up trophy and $100 in prize money each.
